Peter was been given the authority to take photo's at any training session, open or closed, providing he does not make a comment about the session or any of the players.
But he is not AFL accredted and thus did not procure the photos in a manner where he can asert Copyright and the comercial rights that come with that.

Port have opened the gate to let him take a few happysnaps to post here.

I can tell you that Power Pete was given the authority, by the Port Adelaide Football Club, to take Photo's at any time at training, with the proviso, that he cannot make any comment on any of the training or players.
So he is not allowed to point out Ebert was bleeding...

I doubt port have even given him the "right" to take happy snaps. Much more likely they've probably agreed to not give a crap unless they have reason to.

I think only Port Adelaide has done this. I don't see any photo's on any other BF boards etc.
I do know that it took a while for Port to give the authority to Peter, and he abides with their wishes.
Before he had to ask if it was ok to take photo's and they told him yes or no.
We have posters providing a stack of photos from open training sessions.

Reckon it would be the same for all team board's.

Ie. Port board aren't the only ones posting photos of training...

A bit like you routinely use stats to try and show the other lemmings your team is not as crap as the ladder position suggests you actually are.

I guess we'll see if I'm right this season now that we have everyone back on board won't we?

You're here everyday lurking so you know the range of topics we cover so don't be cute.

You would also know a joke about Petes photo was quickly followed by a post from one of your fellow lurkers and we took the opportunity to take the piss.

So we are consistent in that regard, we enjoy taking the piss out of Port, Port phlogs and Fotos.

Firstly don't flatter yourself that I'm here everyday - I haven't looked at this board for a couple of weeks like I said.

Remember all that shit you lot gave me about me talking about our defensive tactics? How we were trying to do a press all over the ground and how I used the heat map of possessions to prove it?

Here's s comparison of your defence to ours, courtesy of Champion Data:

Forward 50 defence: Adelaide 3rd, Port 6th

Attacking Midfield defence: Adelaide 7th, Port 5th

Centre defence: Adelaide 8th, Port 2nd

Defensive Midfield defence: Adelaide 3rd, Port 9th

Defensive 50 defence: Adelaide 2nd, Port 1st

"They (Port) actually invested in the press more than any other side...They won matches when their press worked and they lost when it faltered." - AFL Prospectus 2017

The difference being - you had your best 22 on the ground for pretty much the whole season. The same can't be said for us. We had to play three rookies in defence.

Here's another thing - I told you that most of your scores are generated from counter-attack: 19.9% from defensive 50 (5th) and 22.6% from defensive midfield (4th) vs 12.2% from centre bounce (10th), 30.9% from attacking midfield (8th - because everyone presses kick ins) and 14.3% from forward 50 (17th). So 42% of your scoring was generated from defence during open play...but it wasn't counter attack.

Compare that to West Coast, who people mistakenly think you play like - 16.4% from defensive 50 (11th) and 19.0% from defensive midfield (15th) vs 10.8% from centre bounce (14th), 37.4% from attacking midfield (1st) and 16.4% from forward 50 (13th). That's a press.

Oh, and if you want to know what they say about Adelaide, it's that you need one or two more midfielders to step up to be a true contender - since apart from Sloane who is elite and Douglas who is above average, the rest of your mids rate average. Which is why I told you that you needed Gibbs, in spite of his front running ways. At Carlton he was rated above average - in your system he would have been elite.

Is there a stat for how many players sitting on fat contracts happy to just be AFL footballers without caring about success. Guys like Boak, Lobbe, Westhoff, Gray, Hartlett, Monfries, Jonas.

They tried in 13/14 got no results so now have reverted back to the Primus era of not giving a dam.
