One has to assume KM having us take Stoddart and McPherson is an oversight, because I think one half back flank is pushing it let alone two.

If we do draft Stoddart, we must be planning to move Yeo off the halfback or moving Stoddart to another position. I just can't see the reasoning for taking another half back at pick 13, or at any pick this year.

Has us taking Stephenson, Stoddard, Kelly, McPherson, Worpel, and Hayden. Would be happy with that! Though would like a small crumbing forward.

TBH, I'm not really fussed about who we draft at 13- whoever it is in that range should be decent. It's the 21,26,32,37 picks that worry me more. They are the ones we really need to nail this year.

The more player profiles and phantom drafts I read the more I see why the eagles traded into this years draft. While pick 13 gives us a chance to grab a slider, i feel like the quality of players will be very close across all 5 of our picks.

If he slides that far then the league still truly hasn't gotten over its obsession with athletes. A couple of pre-seasons to build the tank and he'll be an absolute stoppage monster.

I wonder if we have O'Brien, Stephenson and Allen as our first preferences, and whether it comes down to which of those are taken before our pick.

Like, if Carlton take O'Brien at 10 we will go for Stephenson, and if both are taken we will go for Allen, etc. Sounds like it's out of those three but who knows which will be available by the time it's our pick (pleeeease take LOB at 10, Carlton, you need a Kade Simpson replacement)

I am still concerned that because Allen was invited to the draft night, we may pick him at 13.

I've only watched highlights videos of Stephenson, but from those nothing screams "clearance machine" to me. He can run and carry and is good through traffic though, and we could stock up on more inside clearance players like Constable and Worpel later on in the draft though I guess.

He is more a Whitfield type outside mid

If i could describe who Stephenson plays like, i'd say Dustin Martin.
