I think we actually have a few but they have not played .

Freeman just needs to get good preseason ...just think about David Swallow did not play for nearly 2 years
My mail is Freeman is doing a lot of work with private fitness company before preseason this is the year
he either makes it or is gone.

Connellan has electric speed still learning the AFL / VFL caper but really good signs

Would not trade Dunstan

Armitage is done..Koby Stevens started the year well ..but still prefer Acres playing midfield /forward myself

Sinclair should be played in the centre square for me.
Newnes for me is winger .....runs both ways had an ordinary year

Missing finals next year is completely unacceptable.

Pinning our hopes of winning at least 14 games next year on HUUUGE maybes of freeman, acres and sinclair as fulltime midfielders is not making me feel warm and fuzzy about making finals.

Freeman, Acres or Sinclair lifting our midfield to finals is a theory based on hope.
Gaff lifting our midfield to finals is a theory based on performance.

It's all about development and agree have to play finals.

Look at our development coaches we are ordinary ....

I'm kinda nervous once we start going for WA players we are opening our selves up for them to have a crack and lure Blake.. would be gutted if he asked to go home
Blake has little intrest in heading back to Perth ... he love playing in Melbourne there would be more risk in him wanting to go to a bigger Vic club then wanting to return to Perth at this stage ...

You're dreaming if you think we're going to get an all Australian contracted player in his prime for a second round pick.

Drive a hard bargain they screwed us with Cripps & Brown when we wanted to deal with WC always start at a low trade base then go up if needed. We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams.WW

a slightly easier fixture and we play finals this year so dont get this lack of faith we cant push for finals without Gaff .. Gaff would improve us but not having 6 interstate trips (with one back to back) will also help

sorry mate you are losing cred with this train of thought ... WCE dont need to trade Gaff they will only do so if they get a deal that leans in their favour .. a second rounder they would rather keep him or shop him off to a club that is willing to be realistic .. clubs are not just lining up to trade with st kilda for the sake of doing a trade..

After 4 years without a single game- Freeman is fine because D Swallow...

but Armo is done?

o_O
Well that is just incorrect. No AFL games but 15 plus continuous games this year.
He is not yet 22, Armo ongoing groins and is 30.

Fair assumptions AFAIAC

I'm struggling to think of a trade that would net us a low first... hickey to lions for early 2nd but it seems they like cox
I was told about a month ago fringe seniors may get moved. So let's say that's Hickey Lonie savage etc. Then move those picks to a club needing an academy player this giving them more points.... Just thinking out load.

Hi,
Moorabbin Ghost here, troll and Big Footy employee.
Some of those that I chat to privately know the player I was referring to last night.
And I'd consider Essendon and Footscray as part of Melbourne.
As I said it's unlikely but we're having a little go at Andrew Gaff. Those criticising him as a player are surely not the same supporters crying out for an elite outside player are they?

whats the pont of trying to get a contracted player out of a club, and spending loads of energy and time when there are easier players to get (i assume)?

My mate is practically family with Trout. Over the years my mate has given me bits and pieces. This year... nothing at all. Not a single word. Apparently Trout looks very, very happy though. Thats the best info I've got and I'm pretty satisfied and excited to eventually find out why.

Well there are two possibilities.

Saints are getting no-one and Trout always looks happy
or
someone is signed up
