I think he knows he’s on borrowed time to deliver .
Totally. We are not putting a squad together purely for 3 years time.I’m reading a lot of posts about contending in two or three years time even longer , I’d be pretty sure that Ross would be having none of that i reckon finals would be on his agenda for next year.
IMO he would be pretty desperate to get some experience and best 22 players on outr list thus trade period .
Some posters will say yeah his comments upon his extension we’re probably a bit of wishful thinking, I think he knows he’s on borrowed time to deliver .
Yeah I love the idea of gaining two players and losing one. Call me out there, but having more elite mids than less is a good thing.I don't think people realize how quickly both Cerra & Brayshaw will come on. Their exposure this year was massive. This potential hole Neale may leave is being grossly feared by the Fremantle masses. I'm not worried in the slightest if Neale goes.
I bet he knows he isn't.
Just because there's a bunch of fans who can't break out of their 12-15 mindset doesn't mean we alter the current process in place.
Its more about time.Yeah I love the idea of gaining two players and losing one. Call me out there, but having more elite mids than less is a good thing.

You mean a bunch of fans on BF, if the club doesn’t improve on this years effort he won’t be there in 2020.
Not regardless imo. He will need to show something next year.I don't understand this post sorry.
He'll see out his contract regardless. I think unless black cats start inhabiting Cockburn in masses then we'll definitely improve next year. We've improved 2 years in a row so far during this rebuild.
Yes that seems possible -- if Neale leaves. I also think some of our surplus ruckmen will be involved in any moves as well.OUT; Neale
IN; Pick 4 + 23
OUT; Pick 4
IN; Kelly and Duncan
OUT; pick 23
IN; Lobb
IN; Conca
Not overly excited by any of that, but seems possible.
Neale is fringe All Australian 2 years running. There is no guarantee we get players that good in the draft. He's our most consistent clearance player and often hits the scoreboard at opportune times.Yeah I love the idea of gaining two players and losing one. Yeah that was actually the point I was making. That it doesnt make sense to accept losing an elite mid because we have two with potential. I agree with you - suggesting that 'losing Neale and gaining a top 5 pick is net positive' is folly since there's no guarantee that anyone we pick will be as good as him, or be hardened in the timeframe we needNeale is fringe All Australian 2 years running. I'd like to try him in a Degoey type role.Lot of journalists recently talking about delisting Harley Bennell if he doesn't come good next year...Lyon told they are trying to put him straight back into the midfield. So The recent injuries may be because of the over strain caused due to that attempt? If injury still persist, is it a good move to try him as a pure forward instead of delisting..?
I feel he will still be a good forward than many forwards we have..............

I think my original post was a little too esoteric. Oops
Yeah I wanted degoey in his draft year. Stevenson last year. We need a pacy clever forwardAll good.
Having said what I said though I would swap Neale out if it meant getting a DeGoey/Rayner type for the front half.
I think the Tigers back line height was always going to struggle with a dominant tall forward, Cox played out of his skin butYeah I wanted degoey in his draft year. Stevenson last year. We need a pacy clever forward
Don't mind it, seems to make the loss of Neale more palatable, bur reckon geelong would want a sweetener for those 2......come on down Tommy Sheridan!OUT; Neale

Not a ridiculous swap. Duncan can be good. Reckon Neale is better though so we'd want something else as well. It’s looking like they’re planning on Duncan perhaps replacing him in the side.
