So I’m just curious

When are Port going to drop all their slogans and gimmicks
We’ll never ever give up
We are Port Adelaide
Game day March and village
One club
China
Never tear us apart
Brave football
and the latest
Bring the noise..

And just get a decent coach and concentrate on winning games of football?

It would make many of their problems disappear overnight

Should swap out the Power logo for Papier Mache

Looks and sounds good, but in reality a hollow void.

And besides

Apart from having a dick like Koch in charge, who looks at the past 5 years of Hinkley and says “Gee I really want a whole 10 years of that..”

but do we want them to do it

Geelong get kissed on the dick again with Buddy missing with injury

Expect Sydney to win, they will need to and similarly to when Buddy was playing towards the end of his time at Hawthorn, the side actually played better without him as they weren't buddy concious.

That's my take anyway.

but do we want them to do it

I know. I hope they never win another game

I must be getting old though..I almost feel sorry for some of their more normal supporters. Hard to put up with the results, harder to know the process is the problem and could be changed but isn’t

I did say “almost”...

Losing Sam Reid has had a big effect on Sydney too. They look to go to Buddy every time they go forward. I tend to think they'll actually play better footy without him.

I have vague recollections of something similar happening with the Showdown, when West End dropped their sponsorship of the game. Maybe someone else can fill in the gaps in my memory?

It was when the AFC took on CUB as a sponsor and CUB didn't want a direct competitors name on the marquee local match trophy (Cue several months of nasty and vitriolic articles from Rucci saying how the AFC had sold out their local roots to Victorian business and were ruining football etc etc). Balfours then stepped into the breach and took over sponsorship. Unsurprisingly, when Poort got sponsorship from Four n' Twenty (Victorian) a year or so later, Ruccis articles were all about Poort garnering appeal from potential sponsors around the country, National reach and exposure etc etc.

Ah I remember this well.

He is really a pathetic, nasty little grub.

Imagine haviing two injuries and the likes of Karl Aamon and Trent "The Cannon" McKenzie have to come in.

Says a lot about Port's talent development when they have to turn to their delisted free agents so quickly.

Ratings are in for the second survey period.

TripleM up 2.5% on fiveaa drive.

Needs a serious revamp!

I've made the point in the past that I think that 5AA have made the stupid mistake of trying to chase a market that isn't there.

It doesn't matter how much Rowe and Bicks try and suck up Port's ass the Port supporters aren't a market that they'll win over. Then on the flip side when Crows supporters see people like Rucci and Cornes taking pot shots at us and then all we have is two guys with zero spine who have been neutered by 5AA to the point of where they have become totally unappealing, it's no wonder that the Crows supporters have stopped listening.

I agree re comments on AA.

I barely listen to the sports show now, might tune in to hear Caro or the team but thats it.

Never tune in after 6.

Tried mmm hated it so juat dont bother.
I occasionally listen to the Saturday morning show.

There are better avenues for sports news and opinion now.

Adelaide sports media is puerile and amateurish.

LOL

How much was it the Powa are paying Rockliff, was it $700K or so??.....................................To play in the SANFL tomorrow against the Double Blues. Wonder if he'll get a gig in their SANFL midfield tomorrow or he'll be relegated to a forward pocket role??
Has taken Lobbes $600k spot in the Maggies

5AA are miles behind the main players now and I can’t imagine Rowey, Bicks, Kornes and Blight would come cheap.

How long until they work out people are over Rowey and Kornes alienates listeners?

Who has got the balls to ring Kane tonight and tell him since he joined their ratings keep dropping?

Hopefully Pigdog plays and he can look after him.

Port continue with the laughs, Rockliff injured - yeah right.

Has been shit for 4 weeks, Koolaid drinkers would be confused dropping him as he was part of the recruitment bonanza (along with Thomas, Watts and Fatlop)

So their injury "toll" is Ryder and Marshall.

Two injuries and their great depth has seen them play Thomas and Motlop - they will be in a world of pain if they get a bad run of injuries.
You missed McKenize
