Bit early to be making that call, currently SPP is miles in front on output alone.....Jarrod Berry was the one I've have preferred we take at the Gallucci pick and he's also miles in front at this point.

I doubt SPP would have played as many games as Gooch if we drafted him, given the inside mids in our side. We traded out Lyons because we had too many of these types.

Berry looks like he will be a gem too.

Apparently some rumour doing the rounds about him on the China trip. Overheard on the train coming home from the game on Sat night. No idea what it was except some comment they expected it to break soon. Probably just young guys talking rubbish after a few drinks and a win.

SPP has some of the worst disposal by foot you will see. Seems to clanger it forward most the time rather than lower his head and look for the right option. He was one of the key factors to us winning the showdown.

Not only did we have the Douglas calamity cost us the first Showdown but SPP landed a 65m bomb on the run, straight through the middle, in the last quarter. A million to one shot for a player of his skill level.
