Rumour has it the suns are taking the king twins at 2/3. That means Carlton will take Walsh/Roo v2. Leaves us with the left over.

So it's looking like either Pick 3 or 4 are most likely for us now , especially as we have 3 games against Finals Contenders to come. Gold Coast vs Brisbane will be the pivotal game. Gold Coast win it's Pick 3 for us , or if Brisbane win , it will be pick 4. Options galore from there

You’re forgetting Brisbane in these equations. Ideally, the suns pip the lions in their clash which advances us by two picks, unless Brisbane would be most likely to take Lukosius/Walsh, in which case Brisbane winning and the suns snagging the King twins would be perfect.

If its not the Saints its clear Gaff clearly hates WC so much he's decided he doesn't want to play for them ever again. I reckon he'll have a couple of carry over weeks for whoever gets him.

The only thing I can see giving us the absolute headache - is if GC take Walsh and Rankine pick 2+3.
Would be totally up in the air then.

On Future Stars Boomer Harvey was pushing the King Twins to GC but Callum Twomey disagreed & said GC should go for the two SA boys, which may also help retention. It has more merit for mine & looks the likely scenario if as expected the Blues take Walsh at 1.
There is a few variables though, the Blues could trade pick 1 to Adel meaning Adel take Lukosious at 1 & the that could open the door for GC to take the King Twins at 2 & 3. Or GC might only use one of pick 2 & 3 & trade the other to the Crows who would then take Lukosious or Rankine.
A few different scenarios:
Clubs retain current picks:
1. Blues - Walsh
2. GC - Lukosious
3. GC - Rankine
4. StK - Smith/M King
Blues trade pick 1 to Adel:
1. Adel - Lukosious
2. GC - M King
3. GC - B King
4. StK - Walsh/Rankine
GC trade pick 3 to Adel:
1. Blues - Walsh
2. GC - Lukosious
3. Adel - Rankine
4. StK - Smith/M King
Obviously there’s a few other scenarios that could play out. GC would be silly not to take at least one tall with Lynch leaving though. So thinking they get at least one of Lukosious, or the King Twins.
Would be..... SuperifthegoldcoastgotthetwinsandcrowstheygotLukosious. Even thought the sound of it is something quite atrocious.

That makes some sort of sense to me. I’m not sure of their midfield stocks but they have drafted a few decent ones over last few years.. but:
Lynch going , they are probably not sure of May? Aside from Wright what talls do they have coming through ?
As well as it’s a smart move if the King brothers are close.. lock them in together and you get 2 players who are far more likely to stay then any other 2 they would draft .. if they enjoy playing together they’d have to stay to do that. Gives them 2 locks at either end for years
Only thing that makes me question is are max king and wright similar/ same players? I don’t know the answer just throwing out there based on marking forward / second ruck

I’m not sure there will be much movement like the afl think there will be.. I can only really see later 3rd/4th there being some swapping ... but without players not sure clubs can satisfy those types of moves early .. works well in the US because players don’t have the control
