If we land Mitchell, I wouldnt care if we missed Shiel. Mitchell would be a much more influential appointments.

Let me add, that’s an assistant role at Hawthorn, not an assistant role at Box Hill. So it looks like there’s no place for Mitchell there.

Newman was this season, he’s being replaced by Bailey as he moves into an assistant role at Hawthorn.
Just had a look at the Hawks board. Sounds like all line coaches may be full now as well as the Box Hill job...
