Lets be honest, Dunstan would be on the trade table but I doubt anyone wants him. Most of our players would be on the trade table. The same with most clubs.

Headed over to the Port board to see how they're reacting to the Wingard news and I've come to the realisation that they have a very high percentage of bogan posters. Lots of "karn"'s thrown around.

Also, they are not taking the Wingard news well. Combine with aforementioned bogan attributes and it is very amusing.

What a lot of rubbish. Played most of the year. Had a great year. Missed an important game. Could have missed an unimportant game. Just the way it happens. Do they finish top 4 without him. Very doubtful.

Ok so here's the 4-1-1. I've had a number of PMs pleading for reasoning. So here goes.
He's the laziest player on the list bar none. He ****s around at training, is always the last to arrive and the first to leave. Never does extra sessions.

He fails to respond to contact from the high performance teams about his appalling body composition. In fact as we speak he is the only player not to check in with their composition this off-season despite repeated attempts at contact.

He locks himself away on Fortnite for away games, bringing his gaming gear with him and sits in his hotel room often alone.

The club have tried desperately to get him to lift his game and he has refused to respond.

He has no interest in achieving premiership success and he has no drive to succeed. A player in it for the lifestyle.

The club have lost patience, they don't want him. This was happening since day 1 of pre-season. His attitude absolutely stinks and his petulance on social media has driven a final wedge.

We've tried everything to accommodate him, and he's given us nothing.

The club understand he will likely succeed at another club but the factors for this will be things the PAFC cannot control.

The players themselves have run out of patience with him, he genuinely doesn't get on with Chad Cornes - reason being Chad has demanded more from him and driven him with the whip and Wingard can't take it.

The official reasoning - "We are here to win premierships, and Chad does not share that desire."

I am fully on the club's side here. It hurts, it burns. It aches. However you all agree you want a club with a spine, you've got one.

Chad Wingard has become damaging to the playing group.

If even half of that is true, given our current circumstances, he wouldn't suit us at all. Be interesting to see how he goes at Hawthorn.

Did Lethlean come out and say Dunstan not going anywhere?
If so...That is signifigantly pleasing! And a little curious
as wasn't he meant to be the chief agitator against Richo?
And therefore leading the Mass walkout that Never happened!

Hope for his sake, he can mend his relationship with the coach
and show us next year exactly what he can do!

Often maligned on here is still young Luke. But imo he is pivotal to
our chances of rebounding strongly next year! We need him at his best!
He also needs to add a few strings to his bow and have a massive preseason!

The win/win for all parties could be a lot bigger than people ever imagined
Dunstan could be!

Hawthorn would be mad to give up Burton and pick 15 for Wingard.

Wingard can do special things but he isnt worth first rounder and a 190cm 21 year old who has shown he can be gun at AFL level.

Your opinion have different one would have Wingard in heartbeat 2 times All Australian
The youngest player to win Port Adelaide B & F since Craig Bradley ( pretty fair player ).

Hinkley is like Richardson he is not a flair type coach in fact coaches it out them

Our drafting 2006-10 certainly didn't help us much.

Agreed Shelby and P66. I would argue that our problems started with our success from 04-11. Our draft position was less favourable and it showed. Plenty of poor choices. Watts, Raph, Lovett et al. What aggravated it further was TFWF and the Pelican trading out five of the better players JP and JB got in during that period. Lynch, McEvoy, Cripps, Hutchings, while Stanley was first ruck for a finals team this year. At least they brought a four time B & F into the place and the captain.
