Yes my mistake sorry 3cm taller doesn't matter looks like Adams is on his way to us according to noble
Adams obviously plays taller than that too - much like Dizzy. And has the bulk to play on the really big forwards. Can also go forward.

I posted similar a week or so. The suns will keep their picks together to fight the "Go Home" factor. For example if they took the King twins and shacked them up together that would help any issues of homesickness. They might however take 2 SA kids especially if those kids are good friends. Like Brisbane taking McCluggage and Berry together. Be interesting to know which of the top SA kids are mates with each other but if the Suns loose both Lynch and May this year the LuKosius will be on their list and he has already said he wouldn't mind going there so they have talked. If Rakine or one of the other are mates with him then the suns will have taken the top and the Adelaide clubs may be reluctant to trade up keeping their 2 picks each for the others. I still think the Suns will hold May as its looking less likely pick 5 will end up there for him and they will get pick 3, 4 or 5 next year for sure and they can top up again on talent.
Lakosius and Rozee are very close

I'm still so unsure what we're going to do with 32, 41 and 44. Surely there is no way Noble would've made that trade without knowing who we can trade them with.

32 for Adams?
5+Mayes+32 for 10+11 for Neale?

Is Allison's request going to be made public or are we all going to get a notification one day in the next week saying he's been traded to a Melbourne club
Is anyone actually interest in Keays or Bastinac at all?
Is there even any interest in Mayes by the Adelaide clubs?

So many questions. Wish the trade period wasnt so long. 1 week would be enough.

4 days for actual deals, 6 days of chest beating and face saving. The AFL really needs to do something about it, it's becoming quite predictable and boring

Would have been an ideal time to shorten the player trade period to 4 days considering they have extended pick trading and added it to the draft

People always say this but really shortenimg the trade period would make very little sense. Just because a lot of trades happen late doesn't mean that there isn't still a lot of stuff happening the rest of the time. And it's not just throwing players and picks together an lodge and it's done. Contracts still have to be agreed to and signed, medicals and meeting still have to go on. Lots of players are overseas as well so the simple signing of a contract can take additional time especially when different timezones are involved. The final trade lodgement is just the small end result of a sometimes complex and lengthy process. Personally I'm not sure why it just doesn't go all the way up to the draft, but that wouldn't fit in with the AFL's marketing plan for it.

Dodongo wants you to imagine another month dealing with Freo supporters...likewise a few years back with Beams and dealing with Collingwood supporters - that is what the leadup to the draft will be like

Any chance you might want to do some biz with North here to consolidate the Neale trade?

As you know, we want to pick up some points where we can.

Norths 31 for Brisbane's 41 & 44?

5, 31 & 32 to Freo = basically pick 1 in points.

We pick up 168 points.

Na we need points for academy players

The problem with this suggestion is we have an academy player this year who will go probably somewhere in the second round, and it leaves our first pick at 55 which is only enough points to cover a start of third round nomination. Granted we could do other trades to find another pick.

So our first pick in the draft becomes 55 just to....ahhh, help N.o.r.f!

Beams asking to be released from his contract to return to Collingwood according to Barrett on Trade Radio

No issues with the Lions at all - just the reason for him being here, ie his father, is unfortunately not there any more.

Only looking to return to Collingwood.

Purple at it again-

1- Dayne Beams loves the Lions and is not disgruntled with them but still wants to go back to Collingwood.
2- He has repaired his fractured relationship with Nathan Buckley.
3- He expects a trade request from Beams to go to Collingwood.
