Happy for it to be true, but wasn’t Shouter a BigFooty piss take account? Essentially either re-reported or went deliberately against other Twitter accounts for fun...

Ugh Wildy on AA pushing the usual company line.... Polec only leaving because of the huuuuge offer from North and it would be unfair to the other players for Port to match it. FFS, he's on record as saying he only wanted an extra year from Port and he would've stayed!
Meanwhile, the recent recruits including Lycett are all on similar/more money than Polec so how do the other players feel about that?

Wingard already sooks on the field.

Can you imagine what will happen if they cant trade him?

Hmmm I actually hope they cant, aside from the side show at Alberton, we would be in a prime position next year to grab him next year as FA. I am surprised we are not into him to be honest.

He needs to be de-Portified but he would be a decent player for us.
I'd actually prefer to avoid him, can't stand his attitude

could say the same with Melbourne about lever.....but yea I wouldn't do it anyway
Lever and Burton's injuries are poles apart. Lever had a classic ACL. Burton's let was compared to a car crash victim. He had a LOT more damage to that leg and knee that Lever ever did. Apples and oranges.

I thought I heard Burton takes a while to recover from games .....at his age, not a good sign

Not sure where I heard it, but it made sense at the time

But its the same world for both Lobb and Scully. Both have named their club. I don't understand how GWS can let Scully go for 53.
There has been talk over here in Sydney that Scully still can't move pain free and his ankle blows up even with light training

The hawks are pretty bullish about their medical and injury mgt so they may be aware of the risk however for pick 53 they are happy to back themselves in

Scully's entire game is based on gut running, take that away and there is very few other ways he can have an impact

I know, I know. F**kwit. Mind you Danger was just as big campaigner as him. I am referring to when he was with us. I was never an ardent fan of his attitude.

I like my players to be brilliant and humble. I dont mind showmanship (American Pie - Cox) but carrying on like prima dona, no thank you.

I forgot how much the middle part of Trade Week is like watching paint dry.

Thats why gifs, memes, Port and Carlton bashing and posters fighting are the only way to get through.:p

TBH, jumping on the AFL website at the end of the day is probably far easier way to get a summary of whats going on.

If bringing in Burton means that he moves to a wing and pushes DMac out,of our 22 then I would consider it

Or Burton to HB, Milera to a wing, DMac out if 22 and Cheney or Kelly moved on then it's definitely worth considering

Just wondering if I would be the only one here happy to put Gallucci up as trade bait to St Kilda when trying to get pick 4..

Considering 4 probably gets Rankine who could easily slot straight into gallucci’s spot... small, fast and skilful forward/midfielder..

Burton coming to the Crows is not the issue, its what it will cost us.

No way for a pick under 30, in this years draft.
Tell me this

Would we be guaranteed to get a better player in the mid to late teens?

Would Burton immediately improve our best 22, he could play HB and push Milera to wing or midfield or play Wing himself

At the age of 21 could we potentially get 200 games out of Burton?

I was originally a No for getting Burton however I'm starting to warm to the idea, with that said I don't think it will happen

Its not so much what we would get for Pick 16, but rather Pick 16 may be a part of a bigger puzzle.

ie. Trading up the draft.

Burton has well known documented medical issues. He could also never play a game for us.

Food for thought, Lever would still be with us if he did his knee last year.
