Surely Gold Coast would be better off saying 'get stuffed' to those offers for Hall and Scrimshaw and have disgruntled players rather than selling them for nothing

Maybe gold coast are offloading a heapof players quickly because they need to free up spots on their list to bring in a heap of young players.. because they are about to cash picks 2 and 3 in for four picks under 20 and other goodies like a himmelburg, cheney and or picks for next year...

Aaron Hall sucks though, pick 68 is about right for him.

We're effectively paying a 2019 4th for Stengle, that's probably about right, could have been a 5th but really doesn't matter as we rarely use picks 60+

What is strange is that we already had pick 73.

Surely there is little to no difference between pick 68 and 73, so it seems strange to trade for 68 when we already had a pick of the same value already.

You would think that if Richmond accept 68 for Stengle that they also would have accepted 73 as it is pretty much the same value, seems a bizarre trade to me unless we're giving them both 68 and 73 to get the deal done.

GC's 4th rounder is almost a late 3rd round pick. Ours would be further out. Also we might be packaging up 68 and 73 for Stengle.
