Suns get 5 for May. They tell us to get pik 4 (Stops Saints getting King)
We trade 8 and 16 for 4 to Saints
We trade 13, 21, next years 2nd for 3 from Suns
We get 2 best SA Boys, with 3 and 4.
Suns still get King brothers with 2 and 5 and increase their chances of getting a solid keeper
by breaking pick 3 into multiple picks.
We get what we want but trading 5 good picks for them.

The best part of their radio show is the add breaks... Also, did you know you can get a Big Mac at breakfast now?
I did not know that ! .....but it's been 15 years since i've been in a McDonalds ....the healthiest 15 years of my life

Which TAC Cup games were those exactly? He didn't play TAC this year, or any other year

The tag was so intense that he wasn't even able to leave SA to fulfil his TAC obligations. That's something special.

Either that or Dew/their off-field staff have decided that the best course is to just burn it down and start all over.

It may put 2 and 3 in play, though I highly doubt it at this point.
They could still burn it down and receive better draft picks surely? Bringing in guys like GHS won't help. Feels like they take the same route every year even though it has never worked

Depends on who. I'd say 68 for Hall is pretty smack bang on value right now. Relegated to depth in one of the worst sides in the league is just really concerning. Scrimshaw is very interesting, surely he hasn't had the injury history or such a large contract that it's worth letting him go so cheaply.

Really? It makes me think there's at least one more deal in the offing.

Why would we trade for pick #68, instead of giving them #72, if they don't have other plans for #72? It makes me think that we need #72 as the steak knives in another, yet to be announced, trade.
Maybe Richmond wanted a pick inside 70?

I am sure we will try to upgrade the pick or few by the end of trade period tomorrow but it doesn't mean that we will end up doing it.

Probably didn't get a touch considering he didn't play in the TAC cup.

I think your recruiter mate might be just a bloke who says stuff about stuff sometimes!

Sorry - my bad, I assumed it was TAC

Betts are off - he doesn't make stuff up - he's genuinely works for a VIC AFL club in recruiting

I think they were hoping to trade him. If that happens, then he would automatically go onto the senior list at his new club.

The problem with promoting him is that we don't have enough list vacancies. The only way that happens is if we trade draft picks, and end up with less than what we started with (e.g. 8+21 -> 5). That would leave us with 3 "live" picks, and we could upgrade him to fill the last vacancy. That would also require delisting Sig and/or Cheney.

I don't think the trade him makes sense, seeing Hunter hasn't done enough/shown enough to be worth any attention whatsoever. Unless we were expecting a new bag of footballs from Port Melbourne or something.

Surely the only option is to delist him then re-add, but I'm guessing we've committed to putting him on the list (or is it still hypothetical?)

Even from a points perspective, don't think there's any difference between 68 & 73 ??? .....it's a puzzler

Welcome aboard

So, Suns would swap 3 with us, if we can get 4?

Would the Saints do it?

This isn't too bad, i think... the Suns bit is believable, not sure about the Saints bit

There's no functional difference between 68 & 72. Given how differently clubs rate the talent, and the factors which they see as important, it is highly unlikely that the player Richmond want at 68 will be gone by 72.

I think they're waiting to see how many draft picks we end up with, and thus how many "live" picks they intend to use in the draft. That will determine how many list positions are available for Sig, Cheney & Hunter.
