Rumour is that tomorrow will be a big day. Lots of discussions about players and pick swaps, none actually happening but Trade radio will discuss in detail the following items ad nauseum:
1. Why Freo are a joke and should be after Hogan
2. How Beams wants to go to Collingwood but will also see out his contract with Brisbane
3. Pick 5 will go all around the country and end up at GC
4. Steven May is not worth 5 but wthat will be his price
5. McDonalds have a new brekky burger called the Big-Mac. There's a big wrap on it at the draft but it could slide down and slip through the cracks

My inside source was right on the money

Hypothetically if we could take one of Luko, Rankine or Rozee who would we take if their ceilings were as follows:-

Luko = Reiwoldt
Rankine = McLeod
Rozee = Robbie Gray

Rozee is a bit more explosive than Gray, but without the innate forward craft. Bit more flexible too.

Rankine wont be a McLeod, not even close IMO

I recall McLeod started as a forward with us and Rankine did play off half back at times this year with West

My prediction for tomorrow

I reckon we go 8 and 16 to St Kilda for 4 and 28

Then St Kilda send 8 for Steven May

Then 13 and a future first round pick to Brisbane for 5 and a future third round pick for pick

Then that is sent to Fremantle for Neale.

So we end with pick 4, 5 and 21

Hogan stays with Melbourne
Lobb gets to Fremantle for pick 13
Button and 15 for Wingard

Just making a prediction.

Moving from 6 to 5 and offering an extra pick, whether that be in the second round or whatever would actually be quite easy to do for Port, as whoever has pick 5 just needs to know Port aren't going to pick the person they're interested in. So Gold Coast will have pick 2, 3 and 5 and could land Lukosius, Rankine and Rozee

If Poort want a different player than who was going to get picked at 5 there's is absolutely no reason for them to waste a pick trading up.
