We've been tracking these 3 kids for years, a ton of planning will have gone into this trade/draft period.

Reid is a good operator. No question he'll be making every play humanly possible to get a crack at them.

Hopefully olenty to play out yet.

Yes but we would had to use 72 for Stengel which would have left us with picks 2, 3 and 83.
This way if we plan to use 4 picks we have 72 instead of 101.
Most don’t pick up that high do they so 101 is more likely 80’s?

I didn't change a word. It's literally the post above yours. You're a waste of time. Can't admit you're wrong, internet troll. Ignored.

Lol.

Hence why weve got Stengle and in particularly McAdam. Whilst Stengle isnt super quick he will add to the pressure.

McAdam will play R1

Both are a very good shot too if we go for a smaller forward line, seeing my main concern with Stengle was overblown.

Anyone expecting the Crows to do a Sam Gibson like trade that we did last year? anyone else on our radar to fill a hole on the list?

True but this would still give us a better pick to use this year and helps GC. Both reasons to do it.
Cannot think of any other reason for yesterday's trade. Add the Francou contract and there is definately smoke.
Add, and I'm sure this would not influence them:), but Port warning them not to draft SA kids because they would poach them in 2 years, and maybe Ports chief rival for those picks look more appealing.

how many spots to Gold Coast have on their list to fill?

the reason I ask is, if GC needed to feel 8 spots via the draft, could they look at how they best get more picks and a greater spread of picks within the top 20-21 picks?

What do you mean. Theyve lost Polec and Winguard and will most likely gain Lycett, Burton and Rozee who are all easily best 22.

Fair enough. I just feel like they're losing a lot of run and carry and not really replacing that.
Rozee could but you can't expect miracles from a first year player nor consistency.

I don't think that's true at all. If you are injured you are required to get match payments under the AFL CBA, which fall under the salary cap. And then your base salary would have to be included as it is with every player.

Scully's salary would only be not included in the cap if he agreed to a base salary which only comes into effect when he plays a game (which a player is unlikely to agree to), and even then he is required to receive match payments.

There is also no provision in the CBA for an injured player's payments to be excluded from the TPP (section 10b)
I was just passing on what Mcclure and Dal Santo discussed.

Carlton now making a last minute bid for Shiel?!?

Excuse the ignorance, does anyone know what's involved in this potential "8 club mega deal" that Nick Dal Santo is going on about?

Needs more clubs involved
