Anyone else think the whole trade period is like cycling match sprint? Nothing really happens for most of it and then a late flurry at the end.
Most of these deals are discussed throughout the year so why not just have 4 days

I agree, 4days is good but id rather over 2 trade periods

1) one mid season trade period 4 days and instead of a split bye round give all teams the weekend off and have a silly trade weekend

2) end of year trade period of 4 days with th possibility to smash the draft at day 3
Day 4 would be wild

How pissed off would you be if your were Burton? Playing in a powerhouse club at the Hawks, under one of the best coaches of all times, together with a medical team that's had good success with injury management (silk and O'Meara). Living in the football capital of Aust. Living it up oseas on holidays. Now been told to go to the rabble down the road where players are jumping ship and who have a list management crisis.
I really feel for him.

The smell of corruption on trade Radio just now was palpable. Kane says he’s going to grill gill on the Scully trade for which he comments that Damo seems nervous. Then once gill in on air they announce that Damo is now an AFL employee and the grilling on the Tom Scully deal is conveniently forgotten. Unbelievable
