Yeah nah he turned that game on it’s head. Sloane was on fire.

The 3 goals as well was the kicker.

Whatever happens in that lads career, no matter how average it might be, he turned a GF, and no one can take that away from him.
Painful memories, Rory looked like leading us to the summit.

Tried it with Keays and Crocker. Looks like there is a reason they were let go.

That's also going to be harder to do if they cut list numbers as well.
Keays and Crocker seem like the types to me that you would bring in to ensure the team bottoms out while still demonstrating some level of effort.

So this is the midfielder Jack Graham that across 42 AFL games is averaging 14.9 disposals, 8.1 kicks, 6.8 handballs, 2 marks, 0.5 goals, 1.9 clearances, 6.2 tackles, 231.8m gained, DE% 71.4??. Only thing I see there is he's a bloody good tackler.

I think he will be offered a lot more than $200K.. I heard it's a decent size deal. Don't forget the Crows are trying to lure him away from Richmond, money would be key.
Well if Jack's the type of player we're specifically targeting to trade in we're in more trouble than I thought.

Edit : and on decent money god help us.

Might as well have kept Greenwood or CEY if we're after that type of player.

Jack is about 7 years younger, that's the kicker

That and will never offer anything near either CEY/Greenwood.

He's the type of person you go after if you are worried about your delist list being light on in a year.

What he did in the GF has already surpassed anything Cam has done in his career

True, but also meaningless.

If from 2020 I had to bet on who'd give us more, I'd be picking CEY 11/10 times, and I never had CEY higher then "well he's a nice depth piece".

But I don't think that's what we would get him for.

You'd probably pick Charlie Dixon over Jack Reiwoldt or Tom Lynch based on this year too.

But we both wouldn't do that.

I think we should be trying to prise Callum Coleman-Jones out of Richmond if we can..he has been a few years on the list with very limited opportunities but he was a pretty promising ruck who could form a great understudy for ROB
I like him, but he's a bit of a tweener in terms of an AFL ruck. Would love him to work on his forward craft

Would take Jack Ross along with Noah Balta .
As you know I rated Jack Ross higher than almost everybody that follows the U18's but I'm not sure he's the type of mid we should targeting if we maintain our current midfield group, he's another inside bull basically with some ability to get forward. We really need to give Strachan a taste as some stage or move him on and draft a young Ruck in as I'm less confident now ROB is the answer long term.

I didn't actually pick that up but not surprised ... i really like Balta as a true Utility / 2nd ruck ... both competitive beasts with above average physical attributes .

What though? It's not like he's a 200 game vet. who has been there done that?

It's like choosing Aiden Reilly over Jarryd Lyons in our 2014 side.
