Robertson and sharp are in different positions in the ranking as per matt balmer but knightmare and cal twomey almost same....
Really hope we can get Robertson . Watched a bit of the championships and he looks like the ball magnet we need .

If someone could explain this too me.....I 'll keep it simple . If say we go to the draft with say picks 8, 25 , 30 and someone makes a bid on Henry at say pick 12 where Cal Twoomey has him atm, what happens regarding the points and picks we would lose to match that bid?
Never quite understood the system

I will make my clues harder next time.
I was almost going to take a more abstract, hopeful view on some word association by drawing a long bow...
There is an artist called Angelo who draws pictures of fish that live in the area of his home state in the U.S.
His last name is Coniglio...

Or there's the Coniglio fish... Endemic to the Western waters off Sydney but has been known to migrate during the summer to more temperate waters in the south west of W.A. in search of $$'s.

I'll take either
722768

What do you see the Hill transaction being then? Just draft picks, or translated into other options like Brayshaw or another senior player?

The only way I can see the rebuild not being affected is if BHill leads directly to Kelly...most other options would appear to mean a backward step initially.
Im not convinced there are any players involved atm so yeah just picks.

I do. You can clearly lip read the conversation after the game between sonny and kelly.
I'll take your word for it.

Please someone tell me we are trying to get Jack Martin.
He's been omitted this week stirring up trade speculation.

I am surprised at Sharp's absence, especially given the comments ab

Pretty sure we lose 25 and pick 30 gets downgraded on the balance of points (say eg. Becomes pick 35 though I have not done the maths). So maybe:

8. Dylan Stephens
25. Liam Henry
35. Trey Ruscoe

If that happened.

I'll do it.

A bid at #12 costs us 1014 points after discount. Pick #25 is 756, Pick #30 is 629. Leaves us with pick #44

Under pick 25 means '26 and onwards'...

When you use the word 'above' in reference to draft picks it infers the higher draft picks (1,2,3,4, etc...)

Lower picks are essentially that, lower picks.

Establishing the context of the reply....it was about numbers as in rating - higher and lower. It is up to the person reading to understand the context of the post and what it was replying to....but yes for you I can make that differentiation in future:thumbsu:

Has a Victorian Girlfriend
Maybe this is a specific strategy by the Vic clubs. In law, the big firms will have a number of their juniors and mid levels seconded in house to a client with the aim that they will keep the work with that client (as opposed to the client hiring a lawyer from a competitor instead who then moves the work to their previous firm).

Maybe Vic clubs are identifying potential wags from Melbourne (easy with Instagram these days) and causing the introductions and creating the relationship. Then, down the track, the ladies will bring their players back to Melbourne regardless of where they are from, for the benefit of the Vic teams. At the end of their careers they have the choice to keep or leave them (WA style) when their large salaries dry up.

Very smart Vic. Good adaptation to counter the go home factor. Well played.

How the **** does that happen? He's never lived in Victoria in his life.

In any case, what sort of self respecting footballer's girlfriend would rather live in miserable 13 degree bleak city instead of on the beach when it's 22 and clear in July?

If we were a top 8 side, I would be doing everything in my power to keep Sandi on the list next year, but we aren't.
Well, we aren't quite a top 8 side this year, but we could be next year, and would be more likely to be top 8 if we still had Sandilands.

Finding a way to get Jackson is the move I want to see.
