I work for a guy who owns most of the cinemas and amusements parks around oz. I was told he sold 50% of his stake to an unknown source.
Sad if true but it spells doom for cinemas as we knew them.
I'm still not sure why though. It has always been a comfortable and favorite activity for most people around the world. Perhaps we are no longer socializing and just sitting inside watching whatever we wish on the old box set.

I will be devastated. Am not even exaggerating, not one bit.

I love my newspaper too- the Sunday paper. But obviously its shrinking all the bloody time, only a matter of time..

True. Not great communication though.

I know.

The were 10/10 just in shock haha. After the crying stopped (it was a case of one of my workmates crying which set me off) i actually started laughing. It was just bizarre all round.

Oh yeah get this, they did all the farewells at the morning tea today :D :D :D

Hey guys guess what.

My faculty had NO idea I had resigned. They assumed i'd be coming back in 2022.

Can you ******* believe that? Ive been there for 14 years. No farewell

Haha bloody hell. What a weird year. Especially for schools.

That sux.

I seen a ad for the surf coast walk.
Pay to walk ....WTF.

What do they give you?

We got a t-shirt, hat, tote bag and if we completed the walk we would have got a medal - I pocketed a medal last year when I was volunteering on the day to hand them out

We were also meant to fundraise but didn't do much of that Edifier

I wonder what teenagers do now when they go into town with their friends etc? You used to go to the movies.
Do they still go out? I dunno.

Just thought of two more SCIfis I liked.

Star Wars (saw it at Hoyts, was pleasantly surprised that i didnt mind it. Planned to see Empire and Jedi... but forgot), and the Martian.

Still struggling to think of any fantasies tho.

Oh yeah i hate westerns also. No Country for Old Men and perhaps Nocturnal Animals (in one of the plots its kinda country- the other, no) are exceptions there.

I reckon some are good. I used to love a movie called Dark City. Starship Troopers was cool. I liked Blade Runner too.
No country for old men was a top movie. F**Ken loved Young Guns when I was a kid lol. Had that Regulators song.

I was just going to suggest Rango for a good western.😳 I'm a big fan of a "kids" movies but they have to clever and heart felt like Pixar. No minions/emoji movie rubbish.
I saw the IIncredibles when it was forty degrees. Kids in cinema were well behaved and it was an ok way to escape the heat.

Shrek was... ok.

Thats about it. Nemo can stay hidden for all i flipping care
