Sunday 1:10pm would probably the latest “family friendly” timeslot in the AFL fixture. I can see why it would be annoying to have that regularly
If Anzac Day falls on a Saturday, doesn't that mean Monday becomes a public holiday?
Could have two games then, one in the arvo and one at night.

Victoria doesn't get a public holiday when ANZAC day falls on a Saturday
Only in WA. No other states give a PH in lieu.
Could still have a WA game on the Monday though.
Which is amazing given its a yawn fixture

Don’t have a problem with Carlton v Richmond personally, just like I don’t have a problem with Geelong v Hawthorn Easter Monday. I do have a problem with Good Friday & empty seats, not a good look.
If this is true then it will be Fremantle which would mean a double trip to Perth as we are due to play eagles over there.

Apparently Carlton haven’t been given any Friday night games this year. Also st kilda can’t possibly play Friday night. The only time teams ever have less than a six day break is when they have to play Anzac Day or something.
