Do we need two Cox? Isn't one enough? We just got rid of one Reid. Why replace him so quickly? Reids just fall apart and spend half their playing life in rehab. From a psychological perspective, I'd like to see us move on from these names and select something new.
I'm thinking we should draft this kid called Winder, but it would be high risk, because what if his name ends up being pronounced like the thing that blows air.

I'm finding I'm excited about Tanner Bruhn (could slide), Brayden Cook (could slide) and Jack Carroll (should be there) as those three with genuine chances to be available at the Pies picks. Heath Chapman would be nice if there but can't see him being there. Same story with Finlay Macrae, I think Essendon may take him top-10, or if not probably Adelaide. Otherwise it's just a story of matching bids on Reef, and if a bid is expected to come early, I'd be more than happy to either hold firm, or move back, with pick 7/8 not meaningfully better than pick 14/16 this year. If it comes after the two picks, bonus. Go into deficit, deficit doesn't matter with Daicos next year anyway. And take the two best there with the two picks before Reef bid is matched.

I hope I'm wrong but if Reef escapes a bid from both Essendon and Adelaide I just can't see GWS not forcing our hand and it's why I'm hoping that we have a deal for our future 1st already lined up with them (alongside an agreement not to bid) if it plays out that way.

Could live with a GWS Bid as Price would not be Huge IF we can't trade above that Pick

Spot on nightmare. fully agree, Hoping cook and carroll, would love to somehow land winder as well. Feel we should roll the dice on the bid, maybe look to gws pick 15, 26. Give us 3 before a bid hopefully

I'm not sure where Winder would fit in based on where Collingwood sit in the draft. He's more a second rounder. First is a stretch.

If I was eg. Geelong around that 27ish mark, good get there, for a rough feel for where he should start to get considered. Late draft would be terrific value, but most likely he goes 2nd-3rd round.

Everyone’s talking about Logan Macdoanld and how he’s going to be great.

He might, but I think it’s unlikely.

From the table above, only 2 of the 1st pick KPF of the draft have turned out the best in their draft.

Please go look at 2011 & 2012 draft. They’re awful.

All the yellow highlighted cells are really poor KPF drafts.

Please note I’ve not included Naughton as he was drafted a KPD.

Generally, in the good KPF drafts, the best KPFs are later.

Riccardi / Georgiades is iffy, but I just gave it to Riccardi.

Not sure if you rate the King twins but McDonald is a much more accomplished forward than both of them, he won't turn out like the ones in yellow
