13 and 20 end up more like 16 and 24 after NGA, etc. This year. So it would be more like late first and second for mid first with the possibility of being an early first.

That seems to happen every year though, so those picks are standard first round picks for a finalist and a premier. I personally think too much is made about whether it is a first round pick rather than just focussing on what number the pick is.

Agree with this, realistically by pick 10 the high end talents are already off the board. Saying you have two first rounders sounds good but when they are back end first round it's hardly a bumper crop of picks.

They might. We won’t know til Wednesday right? So is it best play it safe and get 2 more picks in using our 2021 picks? Even if it’s our 2021 1st and 2nd for the dees or giants or crows picks in the 20’s? Or gamble Reef lasts? It’d be great to get 4 picks in this year more than next given the unknown quality deep.

We need to orchestrate 4 top 30 picks (that includes Reef) somehow. With one of the picks being good enough for Reid or Cox. Then we will have some late picks that will come right up as well and hopefully a couple gems there too

192cm, 84kg, Oakleigh Chargers/Scotch College, midfielder

McInnes is a tall, agile and big-bodied midfielder who can also play as a forward. That versatility combined with his size at 192cm, means there’s a lot to like and be excited about as a player I can see developing into a strong AFL player in the future. Collingwood has first option on him as a member of their Next Generation Academy and I’m sure they’ll match the bid that comes.

If we think a bid is coming top 14 for Reef, then we are better trading into the top 10 and getting a better player and then using points for Reef.

If a bid comes inside pick 14 and we haven't traded up, it would be a disaster as we still only get 2 picks, but now we get a lesser player at 16.

Better to trade 14 and 16 into the top 8 to get ahead of the Reef pick and get a better pick to go with Reef.

If we could then net some picks in the late 20s and 30s we can also hope for a slider.

Obviously, it would be better if no bid came and we use 14, 16 and get Reef

That what I think we are Trying to do with Crows and Bombers to try and get a Pick in the top 10 so getting ahead of a Reef Boid.

Though I have Doubts it will Actually Happen
