If Tom Mitchell was playing hf in 2015 and 2016, the 1200 disposals and 170 clearances he had over those 2 seasons must be a record for a half forward flanker.

Thinking more 13-14 tbhIf Tom Mitchell was playing hf in 2015 and 2016, the 1200 disposals and 170 clearances he had over those 2 seasons must be a record for a half forward flanker.
Our midfield was pretty stacked in 13-14. Pretty common for someone who only just made the 22 to have to wait to play their best position.Thinking more 13-14 tbh
Call me naive but the club should be pushing for another tilt next season or the year after. Our oldest are Franklin, Kennedy, Rampe & Sinclair. Of that Kennedy is the only one who I think might retire before then. I think our list is only 1-2 players away (assuming the current players continue to improve as well) from pushing for the cup. We need 1-2 midfielders & 0-1 key defenders.I think horse is similar to others going back to blight at the crows saying if you want to be midfield at the swans go learn half back or half forward first
the issue with a guy like heeney is he probably settled in there and evolved into a forward, maybe horse is too slow to move them
It’s interesting to shape a next flag side being conservative I think Parker might be the oldest guy left who hangs on as he could be more half forward
Being ultra conservative And these are guys I’m 90 sure unless they leave will be locks
back 6 -aliir and mills Lloyd
Midfield Florent rowbottom (maybe early)
Forwards Heeney Papley Blakey (though More on talent than output)
Older Parker
Then I can see where others fit like mccartin fwd or back, Hayward mcinnerney McLean even but not quite 100 percent confident
not sure Naismith hangs around or rampe buddy reid
Some guys like cunningham cor Taylor etc if they time it right could be there or be used to Trade
not counting anyone like Gould Stephens yet to even play but I can see why we look at a daniher type and also Moore as we need that forward and defender if Blakey is more a utility and aliir plays a bit More lose
couple new academy kids if some make it there’s a good crew building I think the absolute midfielder a grader is yet to emerge and the goal kicker , leading defender and ruck

Alternately you go for a full restart and trade Parker & Lloyd out for the extra first round draft picks but I don't think we're at that position yet.
If Tippetts body didn't fall apart we wouldn't look so silly. Injuries are the main reason you don't want too much of the cap dedicated to 1-2 playersNot sure if this is the right place to post this but for all the reporting about losing Mitchell, the recruitment of Tippet and losing Mummy and subsequent attempt to sort our ruck is still a thorn in the side of our list.
First the merry-go-round of picks that went nowhere (for the Swans at least) for the past seven years...
We used the pick we got for Mumford (35) for Toby Nankervis.
Traded Nankervis to Richmond for pick (46) and used a pick around that mark (48) for Cameron.
As well as that you can throw in Jetta for Sinclair. He is a warrior but a first ruck?
The end result is we're still in no-mans-land with our ruck if Naismith continues to have injury problems. We've spent years developing rucks for other teams. We've spent years wasting modest picks on players who we don't play.
We made a giant miscalculation with Mumford and his longevity. It's impossible to state things with certainty, but if we'd kept him there's a good chance we'd have another premiership.

King Brothers?Whens the next Franklin type player coming around
King Brothers?
Whens the next Franklin type player coming around
The bloke the Bulldogs are getting this year in the draft is close
The media would have you believe.
Just my opinion but I wouldn't have him in my top five prospects on exposed form

He’s tracking the same way at P.Veszpremi.Does anyone know what the status is on Ling? Haven't heard his name come up at all on the injuries lists so I am assuming he's finally fit again. I guess without the NEAFL it's a bit of a guess as to how well he is tracking.

I don't think Brander and Bailey will be the next Dangerfield and Rioli thoughLeast Vespremi played a few games (he was ordinary but still)
