Good for you, be sure to let Belly know, you know just in case he had other ideas.
If gws get 13,18 for cameron would 13 and a future 2rd suffice for hogan.

Essentially rating Hogan as a direct replacement for Cameron. Fills your needs to a tee.

I think most here would be ecstatic with just pick 13 tbh. But we would take the future 2nd as well if we had to ;)
Mate, that's probably Leon sounding out what he thinks we need for Hogan.

Uhhum, Mr Cameron, we would need pick 13 AND a future 1st at the minimum I'd think

Especially if he is the missing piece for them remaining a chance at finals and a flag.

This is what I think we would be prepared to trade Hogan for:
- An upgrade into the first 4 or 5 picks
- A 2021 first (worth more than normal this year)
- A deal with a cumulative value in pick 6 to 10 range.

Any club offering significantly less than that, like the 'we'd be lucky to get a mid second rounder' people in here, are also not likely to offering a deal to Hogan himself that would be better than staying on his current dollars a for another year and either gaining an extension or fielding better outside offers on the back of improved form next year. Why would he move on a short contract somewhere else and be one foot injury / piece bad publicity away from finished for a pittance when he do the same here on decent coin?
If he goes I think the media, and some people on here, will be surprised how much we get for him*.

*(Obviously it's still going to be a significant discount on the pick 3 equivalent we paid for him).

“Cripps is going nowhere “
They’re right of course, he’s in perth and has no interest in heading back to Melbourne 🤣🤣

Probably asking for Dow so they get 7 for taking him off Carlton's books
Carlton: "We'll give you #7 as long as you take Dow off us?"
Essendon: "**** that, if we've got to take that spud you need to give us #27 as well?"
Carlton: "Fine but how about you take O'Brien off us as well?"
Essendon: "**** off. Equalisation measures mean North have to take one of your two spuds."

Multiple places. Possibly as part of the Saad trade according to the Fox Sports crew.
Seriously, though, this from Barrett takes the cake for equivocation:

"The names Lochie O’Brien and Paddy Dow are now part of these (Saad) conversations,” Barrett said.

“I can’t tell you whether Carlton’s thrown them up, I can’t tell you whether Essendon has asked about them, all I know is they’ve been talked about
."

Well, yes. They're being talked about by you.

Trolling is by inference negative.

Incorrect, the intention is negative but the action can be anything. Being overly positive about something known to be negative is just as much trolling as the opposite.

Doesn't address my second point either.

I don't get it still...

So let's say someone comes onto the Freo board and says "Hey, that Peter Bell fellow is one hell of an administrator."

According to Joao that could be trolling... How are we supposed to know? Is it just because if you aren't a Freo fan looking through purple glasses it's obvious as all hell that he is actually incompetent?

so, so, so confusing...

Yeah, well. What can you say?

We chose wisely that year.

#bluemor is the BigFooty equivalent of 6PR. I never thought Cripps was likely ... until now.
I follow for the lol's and the incredible gymnastics and backflips they pull off. Remarkable...

One thing in our favour is that GWS will have a lot of picks. But offset that they need to select some new players. They are picking up a few players - Preuss from Melbourne, Possibly Hogan and a couple of others.

I’d say 18 is the very best case scenario and that would likely involve an upgrade of say our second pick with something later back. End of first round a high possibility (ie the pick they get for Corr, which will be around 22).

What hasn’t been spoken about much is the possible belief from Freo that Hogan could retire in the next year or two.
