Buy a Telstra $30 prepaid SIM card off eBay for around $10, then activate it with the “Long Expiry” option, which gives you 6 months.

As long as you keep the balance above $30, i.e don’t use the service, then you’ll get free access to AFL streaming by having your Telstra account logged in.

You only need to be on the mobile Telstra network if you want unmetered usage. So that way, you can just activate the SIM and just throw it out.

A couple of days ago.

I believe we hit 40,000 and also believe club is waiting on the right time to announce it.

Maybe tomorrow before the game. Or Friday when the dust settles.

George....you were very very close !!!!!

How good is that figure for the last 7 days.

The AFLW figure in the above number is:

2,038......how good is that !!!!!

The club apparently was aiming for 1,000 AFLW members for the first season.....they have been absolutely blown away with what has happened.

I'll be there tonight cheering them on.

Let me know if there's any stubbie holders left, I left mine behind last night and am absolutely spewing!

I was standing there last night in the cold chill of night soaking up what was a magnificent night.

The club again absolutely nailed it.

There were a lot of very happy punters there last night.

I ran my eyes around the ground during that last 1/4 wondering how many people will jump back on this year.....as supporters and more importantly as members..... after such a lean time since the end of 2012.

So many would have jumped off after that year(I knew a few) and 2013/2014 would have nailed their coffins shut.

We say it every year that things are on the up etc etc etc.

This time is appears to be very very real.

Time will tell of course and there are absolutely no guarantees.... but I for one am looking foward to see what we can achieve.

I reckon a lot are feeling the same about how well the club is positioned now to climb up the ladder.

It's a great time to be a Saints supporter!

Does anyone know if the 2 for 1 membership deal applied to overseas memberships?
Maybe I could have signed my baby boy up for an extra number. Not sure it would have, since it might be costly to include an extra web account and send extra stuff over.

Not going to bother with my daughter for now. Having never watched an AFL game in her life, she walked into the AFL shop at Chaddie for 10 minutes over Christmas and walked out a Tigers supporter. There was Richmond $#!+ everywhere, couldn't be helped.
Maybe if she sees our girls in action enough she'll change her tune.

I sense a sale coming up at the Saints locker !!!!!!
Called them up, getting one posted to me - there's only a few left so if you've missed out - HURRY! Nice piece of memorabilia of the night.

Regardless of the upcoming results this year one thing is certain and that is that the club have really galvanised the supporters this year. I think the move back to Moorabbin was great news at the time but I think a lot of people would've been feeling a sense of "that's great but we won't see them actually play there" It didn't feel REAL. After last night that feeling is gone. To be surrounded by 8000 passionate St.Kilda supporters, enjoying each others company and cheering on the team we love, it just felt different. Unlike anything I have experienced in my life going to the football. This was different to the feeling of walking home to the station after having won a final or being in the stadium for a final. This was like one big family coming together united.

It was unbelievable it really was.

Fmd! 2038

Next is bigger strands, extra express buses/trains, reserves side, multiple flags......get in warne and banas ears

Our top four years of membership have been in the last four straight seasons.

What this shows to me is the huge untapped potential of our fan base.

There is enormous amounts of room to grow. Remember in 2015 I said we had as big of a supporter base as Richmond? This should be evidence enough.

Everyone talks about the heaving Moorabbin crowd of the 80's...well, the support for this club is enormous. Last night was just a glimpse of it.

We say we are flying every year but never back it up. If last night was anything to go by - hold onto your hats!!

I probably would have cried. When I went down to melbane last year for the first time in thirty years and went to the game it was like I was a part of a st Kilda stolen generation I was quite emotional from the time I went to the pub pre game until after the game when I was speaking to other supporters. Mind you I was a tad how’s your father by then but it was a great day for me even though we got done just to have thousands of Saints around me. My mates looked after me and even delivered beer and pies to me all game so I wouldn’t miss a kick. Best day everrrrr.
