NM 34k
WB 36k
Melb 33k
Carl 63k
Coll 85k
Gee 51k
Rich 91k
Ess 65k

I couldn’t find Hawthorn’s but guessing it would be around 70-80k

We are doing pretty well against the smaller Vic clubs. Just imagine if we did another 2004 ‘streak’, I’m thinking we would crack 55k

That's quite pleasing against Geelong when you consider the strangle hold they have in this part of the world

Seriously though, how on earth are the numbers this high? I know there's a lot of froff on this board but I am super surprised (in the most significantly pleasing way) that the numbers are this high.

Have to see those Collingwood and Richmond numbers are seriously impressive.

How do we awake the sleeping hordes of St Kilda supporters to buy memberships?

Case in question: I have an older cousins who I was very close too asa child and is the reason I now support the Saints. He sits down each week and watches them and goes to the occasional game each year and loves the wins. Money has never been and issue he is a multi millionaire and has been for years, but do you think I can persuade him to buy a membership, its impossible.

His response is always what has the club ever done for me! It seems selfish but there must be thousands of similiar thinking supporters out there? Some how the club needs to come up with an idea to shake these supporters free.

Something like "Like dob in a supporter who should be a member" campaign and have a player or coach call them directly, it might work!

Sustained on field strength with a good administration really is the only way to do it. If we had had a good admin in the Lyon era and had transitioned the list to the next era well, I imagine we would have well over 60k members now.

It’s the only way a lot of their members get to see a decent game - they have to buy a 3 game membership. I don’t think we even have 3 game members.

Carlton were selling six games on a three game membership to boost numbers this year.

Saints did this last year on their own SEN Membership day, but with all home games, because I bought one! 11 games for the price of 3!

Saints were smarter this time round, 2 memberships for the price of 1, but the free one had to be for a new member - bought one for me and the missus! The result - 2 added members instead of the one, which is more important year on year when we are looking at our raw membership numbers, whilst Saints also have greater percentage of roll overs and contact information!
