The guy is a super talent, no denying that but cant see him passing the no dickheads policy or doing our culture any good.

Probably not the kind of person we want around our young guys... Probably why Freo are dumping him, after giving up plenty to get him.
I would remind you that when Jay Schulz came to Port he had just a year or two earlier had a drunk driving incident that cost Richmond its major sponsor

Definitely comes down to the vibe check

This makes sense. This draft cohort was already weaker than the last couple of years. Due to the affects of Covid it will be a little bit speculative, so it is but the worst draft to be quiet in. We will pick up Jones and Schofield and hooefully trade for a player or two, particularly a KPD!
In 2021 I would like to see Port debut the 2019 draftees and continue to develop Drew and Georgiades. Need to balance development with experience, so Port are to challenge for a flag in the next few years with Butters, Rozee, Duursma at the forefront.
Fixed this now Tibbs 😜

General Manager – Football, Davies said it meant the club could afford to be quieter and plan to be busier next year.

“Our current level of draft capital would suggest that we won’t be massive players in either the draft or the trade period.

“We probably have had our eye on next year’s draft for a bit longer than we have this year’s. (philthy05 has mentioned this too)

Davies revealed the club would target a couple of players in the off-season but there was no specific “missing piece of the puzzle” despite the side falling short of making the Grand Final in 2020.
I wonder if that means we will target 2021 picks for any players that go?

Recon Hogan is a fair bit further gone than Shultz, but I get what you’re saying.

Definitely not an absolute no, if we can get him for cheap and we recon he is serious about turning his life and career around it’s worth considering.

Can someone fill me in on why Hogan is such a naughty boy?

Just huge drug issues.

Know a few people over in Perth who know him and just fiend's getting on the gear every week.

Video's that have been leaked over the years being absolutely gacked follow suit to this, as do the "mental health" constant breaks from footy (more likely self-reporting or intra-club suspensions).

Same as Patton.

Massive pillhead.

Also struggled with mental health issues over the last couple of years, which while it doesn't make him a 'naughty boy', it is a potential red flag.

Why get that poser from Essendon.. We have Williams woodcock mead Bergman all going to be pushing for similar spots.. Don't need a comp list clogger coming over on a reasonable salary taking spots away from those..

The bloke we should absolutely be throwing the sink at is Jack Payne from brizzy.. 21, 197 cm looked really good in his role but at brizzy is always going to be being Andrews and Gardiner for a game. He's probably on bugger all right now. Not guaranteed a game and unlike chumpy Mc chumpster is exactly what we need. A reliable tall defender... That's the sort of trade that changes the fortune of a club.. Not g grade flankers...

Just get it done...

Mihocek is the new Schultz , solid leading old fashioned footballer.

I would love Mihocek at Port.

A good mate of mine is a Collingwood supporter and he speaks very highly of him.

I want him because he has a cool name
