Jack Graham is basically a less productive Matt Crouch. I’m not sure we need that unless both Rocky and Wines go.

Ive never been sold on him, but hes also never had the chance to play full time in his prefered role.

Zak Williams id love. He showed last year that he can transition into a damaging midfielder and is much more that just a HBF. He’d be an excellent addition to our group in a desired age bracket as well.

Yeah we are into Taylor.

Lachie Hunter might be on the table. Not the cleanest player out there but an absolute ball magnet and again in a prime age bracket for us.

Id take Hunter. My wish list player would be zach merrett but we won't get him, he would be perfect for us his connection between mid and half forward and delivery into 50 is underrated imo

I like Tom Sparrow. There's probably no reason for him to leave Melbourne apart from it currently being like living in a zombie apocalypse movie.

I wish gws had played hately as an inside mid. It would be nice to see if he can play there. He isnt much of an outside mid.

I really want bzt. If wines wants to go to Essendon bzt must be part of the package.

I love watching Williams play. We would be so good to watch with him in the team. We got the celery need to Skype him BBQ.

Williams is the one I want.
Perfect age.
With his run and carry would be ideal.
Rotate Houston and hin between the mid and hbf.
Would have a few nice ball users then with burton. Replacing hartlett long term.

Wouldn't be against Hunter.

Id like to start locking away a few of our own tho to. Either sign or extensions for Spp, ladhams, Hayes, butters etc. Front load contracts

I think to, if Williams was looking for a club to go to, with the chance of premiership success, Right age profile, and care for community, Port Adelaide would be a great option.

Williams would kick Hartlett out of the best 22. Whatever Hamish can do, Zac can do, but cleaner and quicker.

The dream, of course, would be Cameron:

2021:

F:
Gray (33) ------ Dixon (30) ------- Ladhams (23)

HF: Rozee (21) --- Cameron (28) --- Butters (20)

2022:

F:
Williams (20) --- Dixon (31) --- Ladhams (24)

HF: Rozee (22) --- Cameron (29) --- Butters (21)

2023:

F:
Williams (21) -- Cameron (30) -- Ladhams (25)

HF: Bergman (21) -- Marshall (24) -- Georgiades (21)

2024:

F:
Williams (22) -- Cameron (31) -- Hayes (24)

HF: Bergman (22) -- Marshall (25) -- Georgiades (22)

2025:

F:
Woodcock (25) -- Marshall (26) -- Hayes (25)

HF: Bergman (23) -- Georgiades (23) -- Williams (23)

We'd be like Geelong and never go away for 10-15 years.

That’s ridiculously underrating how good Hartletts last couple of seasons have been. He’s well outperforming Zac right now and he’s a far better defender, which isn’t really zac’s bag at all.

the only argument for Williams over Hartlett is age.

we would find room for Williams if he came here, but it wouldn’t be at harts expense.

someone like Cameron would be a “win now” move. I don’t think the Marshall would be on board with the idea of sitting in the wings essentially for 2 year before getting regular footbal.

Do you think Port should sell the farm now? I don’t think they are at that point yet.

He would be a free agent so only cost us cap space. We could play 3-4 KPF in the forward line if they were all in form. With Cameron, Dixon, Marshall & Georgiades all firing in the forward line no team would be able to stop us.

Your talking about a team that routinely played with Sam Gray as a KPF, now you want to play 4 actual key forwards?

Every year is a win now move as far as I'm concerned.

You'd still play Marshall with Cameron in games against weaker opponents to give Dixon a rest. Or you can play a half forward line of Marshall - Cameron - Georgiades...that would work too, as long as those guys chase and pressure the ball carrier.

It's just a dream though.

He does come across as Community minded and of strong character. Got 5 year offer in front of him from GWS and in no rush to jump at it. GWS are confident he's sound obviously. He just looks like he'd be a really good fit here.

"AFL club sources suggested that Williams, originally from Narrandera in NSW, would clearly attract upwards of $700,000 a year over a long-term deal in a pre-pandemic market place. It is possible that a club would be willing pay significantly more to get him out of GWS, which has a tight salary cap but has been highly successful in retaining stars."

Kicks Farrell or mayes out of today's team, not hartlett.
