I've found the Russia conspiracies pretty boring so I haven't been paying much attention. I didn't realise the #nevertrump liberals had reached the if 'you're not with us, you're part of the Russian conspiracy' type delusion.

It's going to be really interesting/funny when the boomers who are moderately interested in politics come back to meet up with the super online Democrats who should have logged off when Hillary lost. Part of the Dem base has given themselves hardcore online brain damage and I question if they can be helped. They will literally go mad if Bernie wins.

I don’t really care what politicians have to say on this kind of thing. Gotta be charitable to the idea of a racially motivated attack in this day and age. Imagine if you weren’t? You’d be eaten alive even if it later turned out you were right.

Lol I saw this the other day on the feed. I find it incredibly funny that a few of the #resistance accounts have tried to attack Bernie Sanders as "not Jewish." He's so culturally Jewish that other Jews use him as a caricature of a boring Rabbi at a wedding.

I disagree. There was a lot of conjecture very early on (rumours the police and FBI were sceptical) that Smollett was lying and that his story was falling apart.

There was definitely a political angle that a number of candidates were gleeful to jump on and now look foolish for doing so. There'll be no real fall out (despite Smollet's racist accusations) because they'll look they cared but only Bernie comes out looking mature.
