I'm still undecided at this stage as for whom I will be supporting. I'm still waiting for one or two others to declare. I've listened to most of the candidates and one seems like the type of Democrat I want to lead my party's ticket.




The Chicago Mayoral election is Tuesday of next week. There are only 14 candidates running. I voted for Paul Vallas in the 2002 Democratic Primary for Governor. He lost to the crim, Rod Blagojevich. The voters should have listened to me.

There will probably be a runoff on April 2 if no one wins 50% +1 votes next week. Then it will be the top two in the runoff. I think it'll be between Susana Mendoza and Toni Preckwinkle. I did receive an email yesterday from former gubernatorial candidate Chris Kennedy, who I backed in last year's primary endorsing Bill Daley for Mayor. Well, at least we Chicagoans are used to that name as Mayor. My grandfather opposed Richard J Daley in the 50s when he ran for mayor. Bad move. My grandfather lost his standing in the Democratic machine. He still votes, although he's been dead for 50 years. Straight Democratic, of course.

So far they've turned up basically nothing and a lot of people have wasted two years of their life forensically detailing them.
