Whoa! 60 or 70 times! You are braver than I am! (That would be 59 or 69 times more than I've ever gone on a ride like that.)

If I remember correctly, the debate was shown on Foxtel last time. I know I watched it, but not sure if it was on line on my iPad, or on the TV via Foxtel. It went on for hours.

My nephew got me addicted to roller coasters when I returned to the states in 2000. We used to go on coaster trips all over the Midwest and the East Coast including Florida. Almost forgot California and Vegas. I lost count but I think I've been on over 250 roller coasters.

Back in the states each debate is on a specific channel only. It's CNN's turn again. No FOX debates!!! Yay! Next is on from Atlanta on MSNBC next month.

My Republican brother back in Illinois and I were texting back and forth during the debate. He does not want to vote for Trump, but there are only two Democrats he'd vote for. I'm happy with what I saw of my favourite two candidates today.

Roller coasters did not scare me back then. I was a youngin in my late 40s/50s. Today they'd kill me. Such is life.

I think my candidate did very well; also Amy Klobuchar was good.

Overall pretty happy with the outcome of this debate, with many pundits agreeing that Pete Buttigieg did well. Let's hope there'll be less candidates debating next time around. It was ridiculous today/tonight.

You say that like its not a massive red flag. I can't see Americans voting in confidence for a 79 year old with heart problems who wants a political revolution. He'd be lucky to survive the first year.

The best progressive hope of a 2020 win is Warren, even if she is a little Sanders-Lite.

Sometimes he'll give these great answers showing humility, pragmatism, and intellect, and yet other times he is just so polished he has almost perfected the pivot on whatever issue. I know there's finite time to get your name out there and stump speeches work for a reason, but I look at him and think genuine, no-nonsense, then he'll open his mouth and I'll want to throw something at him.

I'm still on the Pete train though.

how does he overcome the heart attack issue however?

he was campaigning like a freak prior to the episode to underline his health and energy (esp against Biden), but since has pretty much done squat since

my gut is people even if they agree with him, will struggle to pull the lever on the day purely on the health concerns.
