Lol seriously can we just have a ban on posting things ol clickbait Kornes says…

none of it is interesting and it’s all designed to just stir people up.

Hodgey wants a new rule! Hodgey gets a new rule.

No more clickbait shit from Cornes in here.

Also:
Can we also threadban Rendell quotes. The bloke is senile.

There should be no compensation at all for any free agent movement. The whole system is stupid. If a player has served their time and a club doesn’t do or want to do enough to keep them, then they move clubs and there’s no compo. The AFL just makes it more complicated than it needs to be.

Bingo

With Lobb potentially heading back to GWS on huge coin... which boggles the mind on its own, can we get in there a d splash some cash in the hope we can get a high pick?

Are we sleeping at the wheel, or are we waiting for some short cuts

Heart says we're gun-shy after going hard in 2016 and 18 then bottoming out.

Head says we rate our current youth and are simply being sensible until a great deal comes for an expendable star. Otherwise we pick swap our way into better draft positions this year and next year.

Mitchell, Wingard, Gunston all between 6pm and 7pm the final day?
Oddly enough, Ash Browne suggested Hawks supporters would need to hang in until the last day to see if things happen.

Does make you wonder if he was just throwing out a line with nothing behind it, or if he thinks big deals will drop late for a couple of our players if they’re still sitting there without new homes on the last day.

Wouldn’t given up any those players unless a top 10 pick was involve, and that is unlikely

Likewise. The asking prices for Ladhams and Dawson are enough to make me believe we wouldn't accept anything less than a top 10 pick for Mitchell or Wingard in particular.

Definitely the busiest trade period I can remember, happy we are holding our ground and McKenzie has a far bit of tact in the media, nice to see.

Still think we need one of the senior mids gone for the betterment of the team and list but if it doesn’t eventuate sounds like the club has buy in from everyone which means a lot.

one more pick in the top 15 and I’ll be happy

It’s nice to see that despite some posturing from teams there are other trades still getting done. The earlier some trades gets done the more room there is for other trades to also go through

I am still expecting a club will come hard for Mitchell or O’meara next Monday/Tuesday.

Plenty of time for us to make a splash.
If we’re offering future picks, cap space and players….. there’s a few clubs that would be silly not to at least have nibble.

Port, Lions, Tigers all need to add a mid or a forward to go again.
