They over performed to get as deep into the finals as they did. Port fans should be stoked they managed to get so close to a grand final with such a mediocre list.

All due to consecutive compromised seasons* due to COVID-19 which they benefited greatly from, next year will be a full real season. I'll tip them to miss out on the 8 with them playing more top 8 teams and Hinkley will finally be sacked with Boak, Gray and Jonas retiring.

Bottom line is Port got exposed as pretenders. They beat up on weaker teams and thanks to the most ridiculously easy draw possible, found themselves in a home prelim. But, they are full of front runners and down hill skiers. When they faced a good team and didn't get it their own way, they got exposed.
