In other absolutely amazing news, Brisbane v Richmond has been moved from the MCG to the Gold Coast, LOL.

If Richmond thought they had a chance of making the eight after tomorrow night that's out the window for sure.

Clark started well but is still inconsistent. Coffield really struggled from a guy who was killing it last year.

I don’t know why we want to play him of half back put him in the middle and rest him forward. Coffield is a different case, he looked miles off then came on and had a great year only to fall back again. I have no idea where he’ll eventually settle into our best side. Paton was fantastic last year so that’s another spot taken when he returns fit and healthy. Maybe coffield stays back and Paton moves up the ground.

Anyway I’m pretty confident that both will be VG players for us and if they are under pressure to hold their spots then they’ll need to step up and improve as others have done. The career resurgence of a few who were in the departure lounge is a lesson to our young players.

I'm actually pleased both will need to fight for a spot to get back in. Both have had it pretty easy so far with no pressure from underneath. Both could do with some fitness work IMO and a bit of urgency never goes astray.

Paton is a lock in the back six.

Give Coffield the spot on the wing vacated by Battle. He can roll back as needed, but can use his kicking to deliver inside 50 or take a shot on goal.

Paton - Howard - Webster
Highmore - Wilkie - Sinclair
Hill - Steele - Coffield
Gresham - Membrey - Long
Butler - King - Marshall
Ryder - Crouch - Dunstan
Jones - Clark - Ross/Billings/Battle/Bytel/Byrnes/Higgins?

Parker getting a run at the Tigers. The nice guy in me hopes he does well. The guy who doesn't cope with watching players let go do well wants him to be shit. Seriously though I hope he has a blinder...and that we get a win so I don't have to look over my shoulder at what we left behind.

Comes in at a great time for them....

I'm wishing him well, his club can GAGF though.

OK I'll start. wtf was the club thinking giving Parker away to the reigning premiers for absolutely zilch.

Stupid decision, stupid club, where's the f***ing microwave!!!

We should all be Geelong supporters tonight, them winning helps our finals chances.

Won't be easy for them though, Freo are tough to beat at home.

No Cameron and Rohan too, Hawkins needs to have a big game.
