Port will have the flattest of tracks in the Showdown.

Should beat us by 120 points. And hold that number over us, not realising the dent in our percentage helps us.

Yep. We've risen to most top teams for at least a few quarters, yet come showdown week we'll turn to cooked spaghetti instantly while they will be in complete Harlem Globetrotters mode. We will get pounded.

There is nothing in football right now that makes me happier than seeing Richmond's dynasty die a painful death before our very eyes

Glorious
I would take their dynasty dying such a death over our capitulation since half time of the 2017 Grand Final.

Surely pick 3 is the most we can hope for. The percentage of Hawks and Roos way too low to hope for more.
Hawks could easily get past us, but can't see the Roos suddenly more than doubling their wins in the last 6 games.

Its the arrogance that's really irked me.

So glad they are close to back being irrelevant.
i wouldnt go as far as calling them irrelevant just yet...

they have a pretty good draft hand this year and a little bit of wheeling and dealing might see them trade some fresh talent in and perhaps a free agent and do a bit of a rebuild on the run..

i think some of their older players have just lost the edge required.. maybe they‘re just happy to have the three premierships now.

I suspect Richmond will rejuvenate their squad before our rebuild is half way done.
Depends on whether they will make some tough decisions to move on players like Riewoldt or risk losing younger players.

Going to be interesting to watch their off season.

Optus are showing the final free for non-subscribers. Just download the app I guess.
This is great news ..... Thank you

Also I feel Beveridge has been vindicated in that he didn't think JUH was ready for AFL footy but the AFL pushed them into debuting him because of all the promo a number 1 pick playing gains.

He isn't ready yet, and he didn't set the world on fire, he may come good and I hope he does but that was a Jack Watts type of debut
