Only challenge is Goldy.
With goldy fading it’s not a bad shout at all!

I had rob the last few games last year and loved it. He was the first man in my off season notes to start. He looked heaps better then Grundy the last half of last year even though the scores didn’t really reflect it. I’ve normally viewed him as more of a AFL fantasy stud as he’s basically just a big pig with average disposal, but with natural growth he should average 110+ this year in supercoach imo.
Grundy gets bulk points for his hit outs to advantage and that’s something rob improved on late last year when he had a competent midfield with crouch and laird to palm to later in the year (112 the last 7 games)

For 6/7 games he’ll be worth a similar price to Grundy and under 5% ownership it’s definitely worth a crack. I don’t think Grundy will get his standard 150+ round 1 with stef Martin now to compete with as well as English. You also have cameron taking ruck time away. It’s not a bad strategy and gives me titch at m3 who’ll be a sure thing top 8 mid over someone like dusty/walsh who are both good picks but not on his level fantasy wise.

Starting to get tempted by taking on Grundy.

Yeah the more and more I see teams on here who are genuinely top 5k at least players the more I’m tempted to go against a few popular picks

Won’t name the backline guy I’m going against but Grundy will be way more achievable to buy from rob rather then preuss if he does actually start on 🔥 should be a relatively easy swap round 7/8 or if rob truly breaks out a great long term pod

I still think Grundy will average 8-15 points more for the year but if rob matches him early it’s a huge win

I'm actually considering Nic Nat over Grundy he played 17 games last year at an average of 110.5. With a full pre-season he should be 100% fit and CD love him. Also he has Round 13 bye and it would allow me to swap Cunnington---Dunkley
