Hoping this is it.

Feel its time for Simo to change things up with the game plan. Hopefully we speed things up getting the ball into our forward line and take advantage of the new standing the mark rule.

Find it quite amusing some on here who feel Simo doesn't change enough.

Last year wasn't the year to change game plans due to reduced number of games and training restrictions. Unable to train in big groups etc.

So what will change in 2021 people?
I am hoping 2 small structural and 1 mindset changes-

1. Eliminate the spare man guarding space on the defensive wing. Back ourselves to win the ball meaning it may cost the odd Joe the Goose but so be it.

2. A preparedness to take on the corridor. Not all the time but more than last 2 years. It will rely on at least looking forward when the ball is marked inside our defensive 50 and kicking to a man on the move, not stationary targets waving.

3. Regain the “Time To Hunt” mindset and address the poor showing of winning the contest.

Is it possible that they dont want to advertise what they are working on in regards to game plan and positioning? Just a theory as we are quite a reserved club.

The club/Simpson don’t like anyone watching what they do. I know this first hand

As much as the social media team are fairly criticised for their lack of content, I don’t doubt they have one hand tied behind their back lest they reveal more than they’re allowed

Yes, we have more members than any other club and more than twice as many members as Port. We have a waiting list for seats, while they’ve had to put tarps over entire blocks in the not-too-distant past.

Port have to continue to provide content to their fans to drive engagement. Our club can be a lot more blasé about that. So anything they don’t need to show, they won’t.

Theoretical Best (Available) vs Rest lineups tomorrow:

Best
B: Sheppard, Barrass, Hurn
HB: Cole, McGovern, Witherden
C: Gaff, Redden, Brander
HF: Cripps, Allen, Langdon
F: Ryan, Darling, Jones
R: Naitanui, Sheed, Duggan

Rest
B: Johnson, Hedwards, Collins
HB: Ledwards, Rotham, Foley
C: O'Neill, Ainsworth, Cox/Shuey
HF: Winder, Ah Chee, Winder
F: Cameron, umm Petrie?, Martin/Cox
R: Vardy, Trew, Brayshaw

Midfield obviously undermanned without Kelly, Yeo, Hutchings and a fully-fit Shuey. Also really struggling for key forwards without Kennedy, Williams and Waterman.

Brander should play up front for the B team.

But why. It's not like it gets us anywhere and we are this on field powerhouse. Shit gets found out very easily there's no secrets with the potential for analysis out there.

Don't worry what we have, what is it that we are missing out on by not having the best fan engagement out there. It it's such a potential growth area for an already massive club.

The bigger we grow we could and should **** the soft cap off and pay for more coaches, who cares if that's just money back to other clubs, pay for what we need and can afford and don't worry about the handouts back

I like the cut of this girls jib

Pity her request was hit with an all too predictable response

“Sorry Candice, here at West Coast we have actually revolutionised the game of AFL and our game plan is far too cutting edge to share with the plebs of the general public other football clubs. We hope you understand. Go Eagles!”
