Listened to some bits of it. Took a little license here and there.

DEF:
Froth Short, Stewbot.
OK fading Lloyd to start.
Sneaky rate Hunter C.
Zilliams pretty much a no.
Ziebell mecha streisand sh*t truck, but getting kick-ins and selectable, is Lukey Mac's kryptonite (ergo: upgrade target).
All pies- Crisp, Howe, Bruz a chance to go 100+ (little bit of supporter bias there imo) - Crisp would be their pick.
J Clark semi-inducing
Ridley: He bloody lock, Mr Jock. Big TOG, gulls the kick-ins, will see the bulkest of bulk pill.
Duggan: On balance, not close enough to top 6 for them, but see value argument.
H Young: On balance no, floor concern.

MID:
Tyson: Angle there, but a touch too pricey
Zerrett: Their penises can only get so erect.
Taranto: Role suss, they were spooked, they were keen but no longer. 105-ish, could go him if you have all topliners around him.
T Green: No, won't get enough mid exposure / role.
Fyfe: Upgrade target

FWD:
T Phillips meet Admiral Ackbar gif, fu** to the no.
Impey: Some kickin chips, selectable.
Danger: They froth him
Atkins: Warm for his form, but on fringe and extra 60-80k over Joe D make it awkward.
Caldwell: Not picking, not shitcanning (TOG likely a touch low, but they can see as OK 92-odd D6).
Fantasia: They like his start.
They’re very cold on Cripps as well.

But that’s not a small difference?
Dusty priced at an output gap of 35 pts over Caldwell.
If you assume Martin gives you 100 on the nose, Caldwell 88, you’re giving up 12 pts/wk, but assuming you invest elsewhere at ok efficiency, you’re gaining 35 pts/wk on the other end.
Not as simple as that, gets more complicated, but if your assumptions are something like that, why wouldn’t you look at it?
Exactly it's not a small difference. What a ridiculous post.

Have done the least amount of research I have ever done, and with such little exposed form its hard to know who are the must have rookies. Gone for a strategy of thinking price growth will come from the mid pricers rather than rookies. Main issue I have is that i dont have a lock for captain.
That is honestly by far the worst team I have seen.

Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson has revealed the AFL’s potential introduction of a concussion sub this season is likely to require that the sub be no older than 21 years, in an effort to help blood young players while protecting those who suffer head knocks.

The league is considering a coaches-driven request (led in part by Clarkson) for an additional 23rd player, who would be used as a concussion sub.

Speaking on SEN Breakfast, Clarkson hinted that an age requirement could be part of the substitute rule to help introduce more young players to senior footy.

Potentially ****ing all our cash cows. The dudes got dementia.

Had a go at this over the weekend....only $200 left, but thinking if any new rookies are named I can downgrade one of the 200k-ers and upgrade one of the others!

Made me laugh! Come on, Man. If Joe Biden can lead the free world and Kevin Rudd and Malcom Turnbull think they are still relevant couldn't he be mentored by Malthouse, King and Buckenara to give "expert" analysis.

Anything is possible.

The three so called football experts they wheel out on SA radio are Neil Kerley who is 87 years old, Ken Cunningham who is 81 years old and Graham Cornes who is youthful at 72, yet looks 172.

If any state knows football dementia, it is SA.

Only 11 keepers puts you behind the eight ball. You will have to make i or 2 more upgrades than the experts to reach your ideal team, and it's not always plain sailing.

Thanks for the feedback!

Well, Andrew Birch has given you a perfect prototype on here. 13 solid keepers with Heeney being the weakest, Gawndy, Neale, Lloyd and Danger. I wouldn't have thought it possible, but it's in full colour a few pages back. I mean it was just a joke exercise, and, whilst the rookies were sound there was no bank. I have no idea what strategy his round one team will take but he was just showing what we thought was impossible is possible

However if you tweaked it, Neale to Bont or Zerrett, you have 100k for corrections. .

A.B. uses 3 years historical data for his premo choices, so you miss out on the delicious POD's in their breakout year, Ridley etc. Also some of have predjudices which may or may not be justified. I have a Cripps thing - 26 in a SC GF, so I look for reasons not to pick him - not an effective forward, and poor goal kicking. Similarly Doch may not be the player he was after 2 ACL's - clanger king at times. Us haters have got to hate.

You could do worse than follow his template. Downgrade Neale to Bont/Merrett gives you 100k for corrections. Still a bloody good team and his rookies look good.
The 12 keeper side has nobody under $500k and a few of the expensive cash cows. The 13 keeper side has 1 or 2 players under $500k and less $170k to $260k cash cows. Not that it's bad, it's just personal preference.

Nice team mate, but I would try and get 1 more premo.

Downgrade one of Young or Fantasia to Butts
Downgrade one of Daniher or Impey to Bergman or HJones
Upgrade Heppell to the best player you can afford (MID or FWD via Dunk/Danger)

Lots of PODs. Your backline is not very good as Weitering, Moore and Morrison are probably not SC relevant. I'll give you Weitering at a stretch. Midfield looks pretty decent with again lots of PODs but lots of upside. I dispute 1 or 2 of your mids but i understand why you've picked them. Big O could be a great option in the rucks. Forwardline is heavily reliant on your top 3 breaking out. I'm not going to be too harsh with my assessment but i think if you fix your backline and then maybe add 1 premium forward it would look quite a bit better. It is different, ill give you that. Often i like different but your backs and forwards don't appeal

Hi All,

Please let me know what you all think

$102k left in the kitty

I’d probably look to bat a little deeper in defence, just with all the uncertainty around rookies back there. Whether that’s another midpricer like Fantasia or a premo is up to you.
