Most of the BIG players not drafted yet.

Harry Lemmey 202cm/95kg Key Forward West Adelaide

Harry Barnett 202cm/93kg Ruck West Adelaide

Lewis Hayes 199cm/81kg Key Defender Eastern Ranges

Isaac Keeler 198cm/88kg Key Forward/Ruck North Adelaide

James Van Es 197cm/99kg Key Defender GWV Rebels

Henry Hustwaite 194cm/84kg Midfielder/Defender Dandenong Stingrays

Our pick 60 is now 53 and Sydney wiped out the crows pick just before ours.

Does 7 picks make that much difference that deep into the draft?

What were the experts predicting? 50-something picks used in total?

Plus that deep in the draft, you are picking Project needs…. Not necessarily a-grade, will play round 1 types.

our picks are now 36, 53 & 65

it was Picks 33, 60 & 84
84 became 72 last week, when late picks were eliminated by clubs having a max list of 38 players after their trades and delistings and signing DFA's and their earlier picks.

I don’t know if it was overs by GWS, but might have been by Adelaide.

Sydney are a professional operation. Take a shot at a couple of players that you rate (but probably know you have to pay overs for), if it doesnt come off, trade into your next preferred player.
Thank you! Some one who gets it.

Anyone got a link to all the trades done tonight, or wrote them down as I missed the first 13 or 14 picks?
Rather than use pick No.18, the Swans traded it to the Hawks, sliding to pick No.27 and receiving future second- and third-round selections as part of the deal, with the Hawks securing Oakleigh Chargers key defender Josh Weddle.

The order is up to date to my knowledge. The trades weren't published anywhere by the AFL which is obviously super useful. Have been able to cross-reference from third parties though and I think it's right now.
I know - that the hell? They always show the trades on the ticker tape below.

I'm not a draft watcher. Of the guys listed above, who do people most want?

So players we might want still kicking about: Hayes; Lemmey; Keeler; Van Es; Clarke; Hustwaite; K Ryan (for Macca).

Anyone else people are holding their breath for?

That's one but wasn't there one or two early on in the evening?

Fox sports is saying:

TRADES COMPLETED DURING 2022 AFL DRAFT

1. Brisbane gets 41, 50, 52 and 63 - Hawthorn gets 36 and future Round 3

2. Brisbane gets 40 - North Melbourne gets 63 and future Round 3

3. Hawthorn gets 18 - Sydney gets 27, future Round 2 and future Round 3
That’s a good deal for Sydney
Hawthorn will finish bottom 3 so their Round 2 in 2023 is in the early 20’s
They lose 9 spots in this year and also gain 2023 pick in the early 40’s
And watch pick 27 will be some Academy kid we have never heard of who is a gun

Hopefully the price the Hawks paid sets the price for Adelaide to get pick 22 GWS next pick for Barnett.
Remembering Adelaide don't have a pick in this yrs draft so 2 future 2nds should be the cost .
