Melbourne gF are shit
They set up their side so that their midfielders have less time on ground than most other teams.
Their midfielders are fresher and can have a greater impact on the game.
From memory, Sydney's midfielders played an extra 22 minutes on field than geelong's midfield last week.

I know, it’s probably above board but it just feels suss.
The derogative comments about either side in this thread come off as a major whiff people. The two teams are there today because they won when it counted. They didn't just beat up on the bottom teams and they didn't shit the bed every time the pressure was on. They deserved to be there. It should say something about every other team in it, including and especially us. Having a crack at Sydney just stinks like all those Crow supporting tools that had a crack at us in 07. No other team was even good enough to be there and they're the facts. I truly hope for Sydneys sake they dust it off and use it as fuel and don't carry it around as baggage for the next x number of years.

Even look at Carlton and all the picks they had and have nothing to show for it.
Yes you need to draft kids but you also need top end players to win flags.
It’s going to be hard for us maybe a miracle during the trade period.

Back in 2011 media used to bait him in to saying something negative or controversial about the fact he almost ended up coaching Port, and instead ended up at Geelong at opposite ends of the ladder.
He always batted them away with respect and dignity to our club and never wanted in on the joke.

I went to some shellackings in 1992 and 1993 at the SCG, and Brisbane beat them at the Gabba by 160 pts in 1993.
