Mills only 3 of his possessions were contested. What a shocker. His worst return since r7 2021 (equal), also against Geelong.

Equal worst return since R12 2019.

Not going to win many games with performances like that from your captain.
2016 Mills and Heeney were children. I think yesterday will drive from them a leadership never before seen. Ably supported by Gulden and Campbell. It’ll really burn.

Buddy looked old yesterday getting up the ground

Not sure how there gonna shape the forwardline next year

You correctly identified that he almost never looks capable low his knees anymore - for next season he is going to have to fly for everything. It’s not really his go

It’ll either be McDonald on the lead or Richmond scramble or midfielders. It’s hard to know what else

I'd strongly consider swapping Blakey and jmac.

Jmac has gives us nothing for months.

Blakey speed and footskills would be a weapon in the middle. I believe he has the confidence now to really apply himself.

Blake's ans Stephens on opposing wings will have blistering pace
His ****ing footskills ? Did you see what they were like yesterday ?

I thought de Koning should have been Norm

He was playing on Reid sure, but he literally stopped every single attack of ours at the wing in the 1st half. The amount of counterattack they got from de Koning killing the ball was huge. We couldnt get past him and then he also gets a goal in junk time to ice the cake.

Midfielders are boring, give it to a defender!

Maybe an overreaction

Buddy has been way better at home this year , at the scg he seems to be able to play closer to goal and stay involved (the ground is so small remember )

Other times he is stuck as a forward at home and he doesn't take marks and get involved

Had a strong year as a forward but his poor games look awful
Don't disagree but please don't let yesterday influence your opinion as to say he can't play anywhere but the SCG. That debacle yesterday was so bad it is near impossible to properly analyse it 24 hrs later with our emotions still clouding our judgement. Having said that a game or performance like that can highlight things at times. Like how ****ing overrated Heeney is. Said I would not individualise but like I said people are hurting that bad emotion takes over.
One of my Twin Daughters now a Mother herself that has loved the Swans with a passion from the minute she knew the colors of red and white existed said something to me today that shows what this game and their team means to them and how rightly or wrongly it can dictate your mood and happiness at any given time.

She said as her and her husband made the walk out the Ground and headed towards Flinders St to get a tram to get back to South Melbourne she spotted thousands of people in the Melbourne CBD just going about their business oblivious to the fact There was a football game on let alone a GF. Smiling laughing talking and just doing normal things. For just that very minute she wanted to be one of those people the hurt she was feeling. Football is a cruel game and we have been on the end of it a couple of times now and it hurts like hell. As she said Its hard but we just have to pick up ourselves up, dust ourselves off because before long we will back riding every kick, mark and handball with our beloved Swans.

he's played better at the Scg , not cant play anywhere else

heeney is one of the most overrated in the league right now imo

still good but his reputation is higher than his output i know most won't agree

Yesterday was a set back imo

Imo it’s gonna be hard coining back from late for the younger players

maybe

I reckon it's harder for Guys like Buddy, Rampe Parker to bounce back in a way and go through the grind again
