I am all about that option. Doedee hasn't truly developed into a top class player, and at 25, probably won't.

Have Worrell take his spot, with Max Michalanney (F/S) as his under study.
Tom Doedee? Huh? The #3 in the league for intercepts Tom Doedee?

One of our bravest and toughest players Tom Doedee?

Yeah, he's the one we should be getting rid of

Yes I heard Betts talk about this, apparently a jet too.
Betts said Alwyn's quicker than his Dad ....big call, as Alwyn doesn't look quicker to the eye

His twin brother IIRC has had an ACL

Talk of trading Doedee would put alot of players off-side .....talk about Doedee as the next Capt, indicates he's highly respected in the locker rooms and on-field

He's had a poor season ....hard to deny, all players have an off-season .....but trading a 25 YO Leader is the last call I'd make

My list (Delisted):

Gone at end of 2022

Ben Davis
Brett Turner
Elliot Himmelberg
James Borlase
James Rowe
Matt Crouch (traded)
Fisher McAsey (traded - I suspect he will want a fresh start in Victoria)

Gone at end of 2023:
Billy Frampton
Andrew McPherson
Luke Brown
Paul Seedsman
Ben Davis will be on our list forever.

Or at least till he retires at 35. With less games than his age.

McGovern was a very sound decision. lever wasn't.

Cameron - understandable why they did it, though it's proven to be very wrong.

Brad Crouch - seems like the right decision now, watching how St Kilda's midfield is going.
We did not willingly let Charlie go.

If we had, it wouldn’t have been well reasoned at the time anyway

Correction, he's #6 for intercepts

It's not getting rid of him, it's finding a package that Norf would accept and they need experience.

Six years on the list, seven games.

Absolute epitome of a list clogger, how does he do it?, why do we do it?

If Davis can get six years as a pick 75, how long will we give other spuds selected as first rounders?

In the last four games ROB is averaging 3 marks a game for a giant who is discussed as being super fit and mobile this is simply not good enough.
ROB is getting his hands to it plenty, but they've turned into absolute cement and he can't pluck anything on the first grab.

We also spoil our own players a hell of a lot too.

Yep ROB has been looking to push forward more which has only led to him spoiling our guys

When he drops behind the ball he spoils Doedee/Dawson

When he's "on" he clunks them really well but that's been happening less often this season

"Project player". He's only been rookied this year as we wanted some experience on the list, I assume for the sanfl team.

Their grandfather one of the greatest to never play at a high level won Mail medals at the age of 17,18 and 19!!

It's probably the most replaceable position in the team - high value and can be replaced. Seems perfect.

I'm not saying we should or we shouldn't, but you have to give something to get something.

I've always been a Doedee fan, but a player with value in a position that can be more easily replaced than others may be a good option to trade, if the right offer came. Fact is we are in a massive hole with our list, it is probably league worst. We have to make some moves.

Most definitely is not ! ....too many emotive comments, not enough objective analysis

-His body weight is back.
-His kicking leg has already crossed over his body mid line.
-His kicking foot is turned inward.
-The direction of the ball (not even Benny can shank it that bad)

I'm not an AFL expert but I'm happy to discuss athletic biomechanics with anyone.

If I'm wrong in this case, well, so be it. However, I see zero in this kick that says he's kicking forward.

he's 100% kicking forward.

Big disconnect between coaches and list management if he doesn't get a new deal since he's been an automatic 22 player when healthy since he got here.

instead of forcing out or retiring a contracted player like Brown, we'll lose a wanted player with year ahead of them purely bevause they're not contracted. That's the AFC for ya.
