Be stupid not to make a play for Jack Graham.
he's average I would not

Hollands, Miller, Anderson and King would be their untouchables. Probably Andrew too.Hollands would be one of the least likely to be traded given they've nursed him through his ACL repatriation with great patience....you're dreaming if you think he'd be the one given he's hardly on the big $$$$'s just yet. I'd say you'd have more chance at Rowell given his indifferent form post injury and no doubt the $$$$'s he's on now.

EDIT: Um, like reacts only thank you.

Our friends down the road will definitely be interested.
The original question related to the future best prospects who played in the SANFL game ...... quite a few players hadn't qualified for SANFL Finals ....and many played AFLPretty damning on them if those 2 are our best prospects

If they were going to salary dump, I think it would be middling players like Brandon Ellis or Alex Sexton they'd be looking to offload.

Right thats the exact issue - we dont need another low possession hybridAverage because he’s being compared against other midfielders, when in fact he’s more a MID/FWD and obviously has the stats to reflect that.

Burst out of the pack? Since when?Absolutely.
Anyone who thinks he would not immediately improve our side does not know football.
Leadership quality, big game player, hard as nails and has the ability to burst out of the pack. Local to boot.
He only kicked 8 goals this year from 14 shots. That's not great from a team that made the finals if he's been playing forward. Keays, Murphy and McHenry both scored more goals than that from a bottom team.Average because he’s being compared against other midfielders, when in fact he’s more a MID/FWD and obviously has the stats to reflect that.

Yes, he's tough, good leader, but not overly quick, 181cm, KE is 64% compared with Laird 67% and more of the same of what we already have in Laird, Keays, Berry, Hately, types.
It's a pass from me, I think we need skills and pace as #1 and #2 priorities in our midfield.
Like I said, he's a good player, I'm not disputing that, but I think Berry has this role covered. While Graham has been playing more forward this year (why was that?), Berry has him well covered defensively.2 x Premiership winner, 2nd in Richmond B&F last year.
Sit 1st in the competition for Pressure Acts in the last two years. Absolute beast.

Yes please!

So go for Graham, even though we are flush for good inside mids and should be considering the make up of the midfield as opposed to pure quality? (note, I agree with this).Collingwood have the worst Disposal Efficiency, and the 2nd worst kicking efficiency in the competition, and were a kick away from making the GF.
I really wouldn’t put too much into those stats.
Richmond won their flags with their pressure across the ground, and Graham provides pressure in spades, particularly outside the contest where we struggle.

Adelaide not giving him the flick. That was a Channel 9 segment that was run where Nicks responded and has categorically said no conversation has been had with Crouch about being not extended beyond next years contract.
My guess is that we're already struggling to pay the minimum 95% salary cap, so we might look to cover the entirety of his next years salary if he wants to go for more opportunity. He's still a great player, albeit one-dimensional, he's just not going to get games ahead of Laird & Keays.
We have issues all over the park, but inside mids we are flush for.
Yeah fair points.
I still think Keays will rotate through the middle, seemed to be a specific job he did on Saad.
It's more a balance of experience/new players as opposed to 'who is better' in terms Laird/Keays/Berry/Schoenberg
Schoenberg is more outside mid, and Berry isn't an accumulator, more so a lock-down tackler. His defensive work is better than Crouch, and we already have good inside accumulators, particularly Laird. So like i said, it's more about the makeup of the midfield as opposed to pure quality.
He contracted for next year on what is likely a modest salary, and Nicks has already publicly stated Crows have not had a convo with him about not extending him past his contract.
Poor team, sure, but we are flush for 'good' inside mids. He's an excellent inside accumulating mid, albeit pretty one-dimensional, and lacks the same defensive quality of Laird/Keays. For us having Laird/Keays/Crouch all on the inside is not good for us and the balance we're trying to create between experience and giving developing players game time.
I'm really not sure how to explain it in any simpler terms for you.
Collingwood also play a very attacking game and take risks, as a resultCollingwood have the worst Disposal Efficiency, and the 2nd worst kicking efficiency in the competition, and were a kick away from making the GF.

FletcherDont Brisbane have someone to match around the 15-20 mark also?
Carmichael would have brought down their DE single-handedlyCollingwood also play a very attacking game and take risks, as a result
their disposal efficiency should be worse than a team who play the slow safe possession game and they were second worst not worst.
