When Logue chose North Melbourne Freo were going to get shafted. Its a shite sandwich.

I cant agree we're doing well, future picks are worth less than this years picks. If it had have been even this year after their 2nd I'd at least begrudgingly accept as ok, making it a future 2nd is grossIf we get one of those picks for Logue we're doing well.
It's slight unders imo. Can't expect much better.
I'd put that more in the reasonable category or even slight overs and could include Tucker as part of it (rather than the F3) tbh. What about:
Fremantle send Griffin Logue and their 2023 second rounder to North Melbourne, in exchange for North Melbournes 2023 second rounder and North Melbournes 2023 second round priority selection?
Given the draft next year is meant to be so good, these may be useful to hold onto or good bait to get back into the 1st round this year after the Jackson trade.I'd put that more in the reasonable category or even slight overs and could include Tucker as part of it (rather than the F3) tbh.
The draft year next year is always better, but I do wonder how involved we were in these hand outs. Maybe the consensus in AFL world is that the two drafts are so far apart that future picks are going to be weighted A LOT higher than normal. Maybe we preferred future's over current picksGiven the draft next year is meant to be so good, these may be useful to hold onto or good bait to get back into the 1st round this year after the Jackson trade.
I thought that was 2031?Otherwise known as "the year the AFL scraps the F/S rule"
Honestly in that case I think he’d be more likely to turn around and stay at Freo. He’s not a douche. What annoys me is I truly don't think Logue wants to nominate for the PSD, but if we say no to NM's PPs, it leaves Logue in no mans land...wanting to look after Freo but being told we are unreasonable by not accepting the s**t sandwich on offer.
Unless NM split their first pick (won't happen) we get shafted.
I think the 2nd round is going to be our drafting sweet spot for a while. We want to draft players with lots of potential, but need a little time to develop. It’s going to be difficult for a draftee to crack the B22 in their first couple of years, so in many ways what we don’t want is players coming in with expectations. We don’t want to be Geelong trading away Clark for more opportunities. I think hoarding second round picks in a good draft year is good for the sustained success model. The draft year next year is always better, but I do wonder how involved we were in these hand outs. Was only a matter of time. Makes complete sense for both partiesAFL article hawks are into Meek
Hello Gunston….'The Hawks are looking to increase their ruck division and are in the hunt for Meek, with West Coast also in the race for the Dockers big man.
Melbourne and Greater Western Sydney have also shown interest in the 24-year-old, who is contracted at the Dockers for next year.'

What would someone pay for a young ruck who can't get a game past young top ruck in the comp. Pick 24 seems overs but it comes down to the needs of the clubs.'The Hawks are looking to increase their ruck division and are in the hunt for Meek, with West Coast also in the race for the Dockers big man.

Gunston’s dad died this year, and he’s in to the horses over in Melbourne.
He’s not coming to Freo
