If you look super star up in the dictionary there is an image of Kepler kicking a goal doing a backflip and smashing the turf and injuring his hand.

If you can’t lip read: “I’m a super-star!!”

Treacy to defense is crazy talk.

We already have a logjam of tall defenders.

His stats for a first year tall forward was pretty good.

He had didn't have a full pre-season and then got Glandular fever.

Patience people he will come good.
Posters are patient for Sturt but not for Treacy 😂

I know, weird as.

Has to be the fact that Sturt was a first rounder and Treacy was a rookie pick.

If Treacy went in the 1st round, guarantee you no one here would be worried about him.

Eh? Many have been calling for Sturt to be delisted. None have suggested Treacy should be.
Have to disagree there, many posters were upset at the mere thought of Sturt getting delisted. I'm glad he didn't but he is valued higher than he should be.

Logue needs to put the ego aside a little, stop listening to Colon Young and sign. He won’t get better than that and if he does it’ll be at a s**t team where he’ll win nothing. If that’s the sort of player he is, then he can go. Won’t hurt much.

The reason he hasn't signed is because someone else has literally offered him better than that.

I've actually changed my mind on Logue. I think we very much can afford to lose him and probably can't afford to commit to 500k x3-4 for someone who isn't definitively best 22.

The forward experiment has been just ok but isn't really sustainable long term if we want to get better up there.

Chapman and Ryan are probably better '3rd talls' in defence and Walker is at least as good on the smalls.

The only wrinkle is Pearce being held together by tape and no other KPD depth. It really depends what you can get for him, you assume with that large a contract we should be able to get something 15-25 at least.

I was one of those posters

I would be just as upset with the thought of Treacy being delisted...

Both are key pillars of our future

One of my favourite defensive moments this season was where Curnow ran 100m+ up the field to get a mark and Logue followed him the whole way spoiling the ball. Sould crushing stuff for Curnow.

Well I mean sure. I could open the batting for Australia too if given a chance.

What attributes apart from ‘he’s fit’ makes him tick the winger role? It’s absolutely laughable to suggest he could.

I already said it: he’s tall, fast, runs all day, kicks better than acres, provides a contest, can intercept when helping out the backs and take contested marks. What else does acres do that he doesn’t already?

Griff would take a long time to learn Wing. He has the attributes (height, fitness and speed) but not the footy nous. I disagree that he would be an option for wing but you’re entitled to your opinion.

If he leaves it will be to a club that is offering him more money but for a spot at CHB.

Re: Jackson - he is clearly hampered by his knee. Over the past couple of months he has started games very well but basically disappeared as the game has gone on and unable to put in repeat efforts or make contests at all. Something going on there that will need to be addressed and with our medical due diligence should really lower his trade price slightly.

If Lobb does go he is a good replacement at a reasonable price. Different sort of player to Lobb who has been a good forward. It seems Lobb and Tabs have played similar role and it is a role that Treacy plays at Peel. Leading from the goal square.

Jackson is more your roaming HFF/CHF type who is a ruckman. I wouldn’t place Jackson in the goal-square just not his go.

On Jackson how does having a bad knee make him drop every mark he gets his hands on and be constantly under the ball with bad judgement

You are suggesting people are more impatient with Treacy. Maybe someone has been, but I really can't recall. Almost every poster would be keeping him. Sturt potentially being delisted is much more divisive.
