Christ we are losing injury prone Blake Acres after half a good season not Caleb Serong.

We'll cover him with someone and survive.

Yeah but we play our best when he's playing at his best. Like the geelong game, we don't win that without him. Third quarter vs the hawks too. At his best he's the difference between winning or losing.

Recency bias is a very powerful thing.

Maybe that's because he benifits when other things go our way but isn't good enough to influence the game himself.

In other news, a piece of s**t made by Damien Barrett’s cat won news breaker of the year while Tom Morris won the hotly contested best whats app voice note award

These awards are the equivalent of the Darwin Awards, just without the lols!

He had a good game last week and had no effect on the outcome

Full credit to the bloke he played very well and proved me totally wrong (I would have delisted him) but at the end of the day he's hardly indispensable, someone will be promoted to play wing and probably do at least as well.

I mean I doubt Longmuir will be pacing around his house tonight thinking geez Blake has gone what are we going to do??

Again understand the guy looking after himself and wish him all the best at Carlton or wherever, he grew a heart this season and showed he can belong at this level.

Yeah idk. Against hawthorn nothing was going our way and he was the only one keeping us in it. I do think at times he is good enough to influence the game himself.

But clearly the club thinks they have the means to replace him so.

I don't think him leaving is all that bad, but its more so the fact that he's going to Carlton. Can't stand those campaigners unable to draft their own team so just poach other players with non-existant salary cap.
Think Williams for them may be a salary dump this year.

Have to admit Acres is a great addition if they use him properly with their midfield. Blake isn’t fazed as he has played finals and can play with Carlton over the coming seasons if they play to their potential

If Mundy, Lobb, Logue and Acres leave he should have some sleepless nights. Those 4 significantly contributed to several wins.
