There is a mid season Mock Draft in progress on the Drafts Board. WC are well place in a very good draft to begin a rebuild. I hope they stuff it up.

Haven't WCE already gone like two spots over the list sizes by placing Chesser and Cole on the inactive list?

I suppose they could just send someone for surgery early or force retire someone, they'll probably make a tonne of cuts at the end of season

It’s a major blow to WC, am hoping we weren’t that interested, especially as he wanted to be #1 ruck.
It does help us with Jackson though, as WC will have the “walk him to the PSD and get nothing” axe hanging over any Melbourne negotiations. Which we can use to our advantage by offering slightly better than whatever WC do.

There are people who swear up and down Gus is done with Melbourne with a combination of not being able to paid market value and wanting to move back on ball. Different to our Richmond mate though, these people arent specifically linking him with Freo. Most peeps have seen my hints on Jackson that is the easiest way of me not getting in trouble.

As usual, I will include the usual massive disclaimer - nothing is set in stone until trade week and players are humans and subject to changing their mind / people get information that is biased or connect dots where they shouldnt be. Also, I'd think losing a highly paid player free's up cap space to be paid market value.

On your actual question, I personally cant believe we could possibly get both of them, that would seem far too unrealistic to actually happen

Not sure Heppel would get a game with his recent form. Was a very good player a few years back but has been very average this season from what I have seen. Not sure why Essendon want to play him as a half back?

WC obviously dropped out of the race (or discounted themselves) so he's signing back on with WB so west coat can come after him after the contract. We were never is this race, because we want Jackson.
