Apparently JSOS (leg) and Owies (calf) pretty sore, hopefully no late outs from us.
Clearly too hopeful* with the Owies selection.
Last time I saw him in running drills he was walloped by Plowman. Haven’t seen much of it this year but I would be stunned if he could run out a game as a mid. Cameos in there at best. For reference Plowman is a better endurance runner than your think. Maybe mid pack. Kind of with Cripps and a little behind SOS. I would think LOB and Cotts would beat him by well over a minute in a 2km time trial.
That was always the drawcard of Plowman going so high in his draft year: that he had the athletic tools to move to midfield.

For the rest of this, you've just described like 70% of the list. Kemp won't be playing the same game style as Cottrell, LOB or Walsh: his body shape and athletic traits mean he can run straight at contests and impact them. General forward, stoppage mid, sometimes starting off wing/HF to push into the bounce.

Apologies if it has been said already, but if Owies is out I wonder if Hayes gets his chance? Honey is the obvious like-for-like, but Hayes can play that high HFF role, can rotate through the wing - dare I say has a better chance of impacting the game than Honey? Honey has looked a fair way off it the last few, apart from a burst of skill here and there. I think from what I’ve seen of Hayes he puts himself in better positions than Honey does.
Will be interesting to see which way they go out of these 4 emergencies.

You'll have an idea in about 2 hours when we know the final VFL team sheet.

Well Gold Coast did us a favour beating Richmond.
And pity North couldn't hang on to their lead for the biggest upset of the year.
Now we absolutely must beat Eagles. Not too fussed about Owies.
How wet do we think the ground will be? Plenty of rain today, but only 1 -2 ml predicted tomorrow.
Important win coming up.

It absolutely belted down today over here and all the WAFL games were played with a lot of surface water. That said the forecast is a bit better tomorrow and Optus has far better drainage than any of those grounds.

Whether or not Owies is available won’t be the deciding factor in who wins, however Yeo is a massive out for them. Despite our history against this mob and the weather will no doubt make it a bit of a scrap I’m very confident we will win.
