I thought that he was pretty ordinary yesterday. Granted conditions didn't help.

Can't see Voss tinkering too much with a successful team. Nothing wrong with making young players knock the door down to get in. Makes them better players when they get there.

Hewett for Martin.

Midfield is pretty much set with the emergence of Carroll.

Back 6 you’d want to keep together.

A blind man on one leg kicking backwards and Fev would still mark it......he made them all look good...hoops included...

whats the real shame is he never got to play in a side like we are building now...so we just got to get behind Lochie at this time and hope he can get to those levels of past great wingers

fev had nothing to do with hoops' foot-skills - it might even be said hoops made fev a better player...........

Really enjoyed seeing Silvagni get on the end of those 2 quickies in the 3rd Q. He deserves every goal he gets because he usually puts in a power of work for the team. Sometime without reward.

This year we've finally been able to put the personel in the forward line that will work for, and with each other. Today was Charlie's day to exploit his match-up and he did it brilliantly. As did H and SOS by taking their turn to "play their part".

The 3 are a ripping combo with natural footy IQ and team ethos. Very little getting in each others way or failing to help out each other and the team.

Giving the mids and runners targets all the time.

Well done Hansen. Well done the 3 big guys.
And they keep out of each other's lanes and never fly at the same contest. Very well drilled F50. Pleasure to watch.

The great man Fev said himself that Hoops was the best at lace outs on his chest.

Disagree.
Lollipop kicks are not beautiful passes.
Wouldn't say no to him being in the team today, though.
lollipop kicks? wtf are they? say a lot about hoops flaws but he's in the top 10 kicks in the past 30 years at our club.......

  • Charles and Cripps magnificent.
  • TDK stepping up to the mantle big time.
  • Another great game for the unspeakables of a few weeks ago -Young and Fish very good.
  • Boyd showed what the coaches see in him, something to work with.
  • Jack Carroll has that intangible “footy IQ/nous” whatever you like the call it, the kid has it, we’ve found one here.

6-2 is a great place to be.
Next 3 weeks going into the bye are a challenge and it’s nice to be really excited for the group going into a challenging block instead of a sense of dread.
If we can hit the half way mark at 8-3 rip the lids off.

Only downside is Martin being subbed off, does anyone have info on what happened? Didn’t hear anything at the game.

Oh, and really enjoyed the saltiness of Jordan Lewis as he commentated. You could hear it seeping through as he spoke. We were belting them and all he could muster was some bluster about the Crows needing to take the game on more. What a plonker.
The man was laughing at Williams injury. He's a ****wit.
