Cheers. Can i quote u on that ?

Is that the new kool kids version of "It is what it is " ?

Gave it a sympathy like though :p
Er....you just did ;)

I've got him on my bench, he's as good as any mid rookie who might play. Will change him to another spud as needed. Hopefully Joyce from WC (Water Closet?) gets a go.

Yeah but that doesn't mean he gets picked before them. Kennedy will always play, and they need another ruck as NN is unfit and needs big rests so Williams gets in.
Agreed. They also need another tall fwd. I think he did enough.

How are teams going to work round 1? Will teams for the whole round come out Thursday Night like usual, after the Wednesday game has been played?

If so structures will need to be finalized before the Melbourne games first bounce
Day before for the wed/thursday games.
Then Thursday night teams for the whole weekend (Sunday extended benches)

Reading the relevant club boards I think Naish will get a contract with WC which won't help us at his price. Not sure about Joyce but the Eagles board doesn't have him in the starting 22. Hough might be on the cusp of the team but I think Shuey might push him out when available. I'm scrubbing the Eagles rookies.

Soligo seems likely with the Crows injuries. Stephens, McEntee, Soligo will be my M9-11 if named.

Ruck and forward rookies will sort themselves out at the selection table. Brodie my F6. I actually prefer Xerri and Curnow but guess you have to go with the consensus in case he turns out well.

My team is sweating on McCartin and SDK being named for R1. Will put them on field and take 2 dots for the bench unless another cheapie is named. I expect their scores will regress to the 50 range but reinforcements are on the way. In my dreams McGovern moves to the back line R7. Lol.

Enough of this phony crap! Announce the teams and let's get the season started.

Reckon you're right with most of that. Just imo but SdK and McCartin are locked. Stephens worries me a bit but Geelong surely want to get games into him so if he makes round might get a run.

AND what he's arguably most famous for...a pretty hot mum...;)

Hmmmm that Ladham's mum ? She looks nothing like him
I'd give her a shot at the title, but she's no Heeney's Mum.

Been awhile since we've had a hot footballers mum competition in here.

I don’t think Dixon will play round 1. Waterman missed the game on the weekend with a minor injury. My guess is that Waterman partners Kennedy, with Williams as ruck/forward.

I reckon 60-70% chance Dixon doesn’t play. Our selectors do like to play tall so perhaps him and Waterman both play.

Just signed up.
You would think being ready made he will get games at some stage.
Or ...depth player for a Premiership Club in the window ....BRIS are not going to recruit an 18 YO

Last year we had 12 SSP players.
These guys played.
Murray
OMac (i think)
Waterman
Bramble
Mansell
Hunter
Wood
Scott.
Only Wood and Omac were more than 102k.
That is a pretty good hit rate.
SSP rocks.

Haven't watched the Port game, what's the go with McEntee? Did he start? Or did he come on when Gray died?
He had 80% TOG and Gray had 18%, so if he did come on for Gray did he seriously only spend 2% of the rest of the game on the bench?

Was in the starting team before gray got injured which is a great sign

Nelso seems to think he is no chance Round 1
